My daughter has been training in martial arts since she was 5. When we moved to Saint George I had been looking for a gym to take her to the next level. Not that’s she’s a fighter she’s not she just needs to learn self defense. But I have been searching for almost a yearObserving classes and coachesAnd All of the gyms here are great. Beautiful with lots of kids and coaches everyone is Really nice . But none of them seemed like a good fit for what I wanted. I am pretty picky when it comes to who is going to coach my kids in Anything…Right!? I mean these people are going to be their mentors.I had been following Marcus on social media and liked what I was hearing so I decided to take my daughter in for a class to try it out. This gym is the farthest from my house by an extra 15 min . it’s not the newest or prettiest. But WOWMarcus and his team are by far the best coaches you will find. The time they take to stop and make corrections even the smallest detailMakes my Pilates instructor brain So happy! Because it is All about the details the smallest things like a point or flex or drop of a shoulder in any sport you are doing makes or breaks the move and in this case it could be to save my kids life. So we are driving the extra miles and taking the extra time because I know it is going to be Sooo worth it. I am beyond excited to see the progress she makes this year. And for me it’s knowing in a few years when she’s out on her own running around this crazy world I will be confident knowing she can protect herself because of course you never want any harm to come to your family but if it does you better be prepared!

Warrior Meets Scholar is the only gym in St. George that offer high quality instruction and equipment. The owner is extremely humble and highly knowledgeable in all the areas he teaches. The Muay Thai is so much fun and Marcus makes it very easy for me to learn and feel comfortable while doing it. Being a Marine Corps veteran with brain injuries finding a coach who is safe with me during training is very important to me and I trust Marcus fully as a coach. The prices are more affordable than other places in town and the quality is exponentially more. Do yourself a favor and try it out!

I was looking for a place for a long time that could help me learn how to fight and maintain a balance of meditation. I am so stoked I found Warrior Meets Scholar! Not only is it a killer workout, but a great way to use all of your body, including your brain. Plus Marcus is super good to work with if you’re a beginner like me! 👀🙏🏼 …
