Love this place. Never had so much fun working out and haven't seen or tried the workout moves they use or the machines they use. So glad to find a place I'm not bored while working out and have fun while feelimg the burn. Classes are fun to work out in group setting while getting to know people and the instructors.

I felt right at home from the very first group fitness class I attended! With the help of everyone who works there, as well as other members, I have finally found a place I feel comfortable to grow in my fitness journey! Thank you to everyone who has been a part of my experience so far! :)

The Northeast Fitness is a great addition to the Minneapolis area known as Nordeast. It is an independent business owned by 2 women. The instructors are personal. The classes aren’t too big. Plenty of one on one instruction if needed. NE Fitness is a great “fit” for anyone who has ever felt intimidated to go to the gym. The instructors are very encouraging and enthusiastic and make it fun. It is not a competitive atmosphere. Everyone should feel comfortable working out here. Men, women, older, younger, and all body types. Plus if you take a class in the back room of the "treehouse" area, you can look out at the Mississippi River. It can be quite beautiful at certain times of the day or seasons. The group classes are a fun place to be. It is a lot more fun to exercise with others who are excited to be there thanks to the fun-sometimes funny-and engaging instructors. There are a variety of classes to choose from. I feel they are good at keeping things fresh by introducing new exercises in class. Loved my ashtanga yoga class in the "tree house!" What a cool space and great instructor, Anna G. She kept the faster-paced yoga class fresh with some tough strength moves mixed in with some well-needed stretches and poses that I have never done in a yoga class before! Highly recommend a class with her!
