This is the best ymca I ever been too since I was a kid. I gotta say the slides are really fun and chilling in the kitty pool is fun as well. I kinda lost my precious bracelet once in those things that were aside of the pool but never told anyone. I miss being here❤️

I'm not coming here anymore. I was literally sitting down near the walk charging my phone before my workout and the staff continually kept coming up to me harassing me and would not lay off. Then finally she made me leave the ymca after I got done doing handstand push-ups. It's not my fault that Im not a jealous freak like the new age Karen's that walk around in today's world we live in.

I’ve been going here for several years. I’m very impressed with their handling of the Covid era. Everything is regularly sanitized, social distancing and limited capacity are well enforced, and it feels very safe. Guests and staff follow all protocols. It’s a pillar of our Eastside community.

No outdoor pool like the recently closed West Saint Paul building but it's a decent drive from where I'm at and the employees are super polite. My mother and I stopped in for a quick look when we went for the first time and they were more than happy to explain the works

If I could give this a negative star I would. Worst YMCA/gym ever. No control over kids, a certain group of ppl there in the community shows no respect to others, the staff have no organizational skills, there's no proper schedule for each group utilizing the facility unless you pay a hefty fee on top of the expensive membership.

I have visited many YMCA’s. But when it comes to Saint Paul they really don’t have any good ones. I visited Y’s in downtown, east side and west side. They have huge place but they really need to upgrade them. On East side I was told they didn’t have barbell racks with different weights and was asked to you the generic barbel instead. They also don’t have sufficient bench’s or cardio equipments( they have like 7-8 treadmills, 1-2 stair, 2-3 elliptical). They badly lack in gym equipments. For the amount of monthly fees they charge it’s not a recommended place if you plan on using it as a gym. They do have a really nice swimming pool and two basketball courts. That’s pretty much they have to offer. Since I have been to Y’s in different cities I really expected them to have a good standards. Conclusion not worth the membership price if you want to use it as a gym! PeriodUpdate: I had submitted in request for physical assessment twice. I got two emails saying someone will be calling me soon. I haven’t heard back from them at all! It has been over two weeks since I last put in request. It just shows that they don’t care. I usually enjoy Y’s but having worst experience with Y’s in here. So reducing my rating to 1 star and i have cancelled my membership.

Friendly and helpful staff. Equipment is in good condition. The gym equipment area is a bit small, but it has decent variety. If you are tall, you may notice most machines are set to a lower height then typical.Swimming area is good for the kids.
