Dont like the staff they dont care about your health and manger don’t even like herself why would she care for her workers or consumers of the product? they just put on some friendly front but they’re all judgemental of everyone. Awesome trainers talk about goals not about others in a bad way. I dont like coming here to run anymore because I dont feel good around the workers they just watch and judge you the whole time

WORST MORNINGS EVER! if you are someone who is looking at the gym because you go really early in the morning before gym staff usually gets there and the 24 hour usage seems appealing to you. Let me warn you that you will not be able to access the gym some mornings and they will not let you know when those mornings will be you just have to show up to the gym and figure it out yourself when the app doesn’t let you in. There is no staff to call there is no one to help you and the app they use itself just has feedback and no number to call. This is the second time this is happened to me at five in the morning. And none of their locations have a voicemail system so you can’t leave anyone a message letting them know that their own system is down. I have never experienced something so quite ridiculous in my life.

The fact that you have to clean equipment with a community washcloth and spray over and over again was enough to make me not want to join this gym. HOW DISGUSTING???Some of the equipment needs updated (I.e., the only calve machine available)

Hannah, Mac, and Tyler were awesome. Hannah especially went above and beyond to help me when it came to pricing and getting me what I needed when signing up. Great staff, great pricing, friendly environment, and clean gym. 10/10 recommend. I look forward to going back.

I feel so deceived. I moved here super eager to start my journey in the gym, but i have bad social anxiety so I was nervous at the same time. the workers were super friendly and made me feel special and told me i should come in for a meeting with a trainer so, me being excited to meet new people and make friends, said yes. during the meeting i felt completely fine and excited until the end when she sat and pressured me into signing up for their Personal training program, that i made it so clear to her that i could not afford and did NOT want to do. She pretty much wouldn’t let me say no. Trust me I tried to tell her no several times. But of course since I felt uncomfortable, and she could obviously see that, she said how about you pay the down payment today and tomorrow if you sleep on it and do not want to continue, we will refund you. she PROMISED, and i wanted to leave so i did what she said, knowing i would cancel in the morning. the next morning i called first thing and they told me she was out of town. then i called every day for almost a week waiting to talk to someone else and had no luck. on my last attempt, they told me they would take care of it, so i thought i was good.recently i had something come up forcing me to move home. i went in to cancel my membership and they told me that i was never refunded my fee and couldn’t cancel because i had the personal training thing. now they won’t let me cancel my membership and overall, i have been very kind and tried to understand but just feel deceived and lied to. Super unhappy with how this situation was handled. please be careful when you sign up for this gym.

Do Not Sign up here. They have a predatory contract that is impossible to cancel unless you send in certified mail from USPS. That’s not normal and it is specifically to get you locked in so that you can not easily cancel if you move. A business that does this is predatory and scammy. That’s the only way you can describe AMPed fitness. Stay Away!

Amped Fitness and ABC Fitness work on a purpose built Business Model that is deceitful and predatory to their Patrons.Let this be a warning that you should review their contract before signing it. This is the reason why:1. A sales Personal Trainer (PT) will give you a pitch for their services. Many work off of a sheet provided by management on how to word it. This was admitted to by the Regional Manager, but he would not provide a copy of it after questioning their sale practices.2. The pitch is purposely not clear on the costs being monthly or annually . I was lead to believe it was annually, when it was monthly.3. I was told it could be cancelled at anytime. It can be, but only with a 30 day notice and a 15% cancellation fee. None of this was mentioned in the verbal sales pitch.4 . Gyms or Health Sudios are regulated by FDACS under the Health Studios Act due to the high rate of fraud perpetrated on patrons. The Act calls for a 3 day rescission period you are not told about. The Buyer’s Rights afforded you under this Act are not explained to you.5. While the PT is giving you the pitch they run the written contract through the tiny 2 x 4 inch (approximate) credit card machine to the signature spots, but never let you see what the actual contract is. This Contract that you are signing is different then the sales pitch. This scenario is purposely done to deceive their true intent.6. Since you were never made aware of your rights and foolishly trusted the PT, you don’t realize you were defrauded until the next month when you get a charge you didn’t expect.7. If I am wrong in my accusations, why doesn’t Amped present you with a paper easy to read copy of the contract to sign rather than the way it is flashed on the small Credit Card machine. The answer is easy to figure out. Honest, decent people aren’t afraid to show their contracts. The PT, General and Regional Managers just tell you “you should have read the contract better” if they respond to you at all.It is a sad commentary on the business practices of Amped and many other companies that you need to be very wary and accompanied by an attorney to sign up for the simplest of services or products.BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THIS COMPANYDON’T SIGN ANYTHING UNLESS YOU READ THE CONTRACT IN ITS ENTIRETY AND WITHIN THREE (3) DAYS OF SIGNINGUNDERSTAND YOUR RIGHTS. LOOK UP THE HEALTH STUDIOS ACT.GOOD LUCK 🍀

The price is great, it is clean to a degree, but the staff ekk. I understand how hard it is to find employees now a days, but management should have some back bone. Staff is rude, I have seen them talk about people walking in and commenting on their appearance. Also, I do believe the staff should organize the weights, and if you see people not putting their weights away properly the staff should speak up! Put up signs to put weights away in order. I hate going to a gym and you have to walk around looking for weights!
