I was recently visiting Florida on vacation with my family. I was looking for a jiu jitsu gym to get some training in. I can't say good enough things about the Professors and students at Gracie Sr. Pete bjj. Everyone was extremely welcoming and nice. Instruction was top notch and professional. The Professor was extremely knowledgeable and taught the moves with detail and related the material easy to understand. Great spot to train! Thanks again!

Spent my summer with no regrets. Both Anton and Gabe are fantastic instructors when showing examples, as well as tips to make a position or submission easier against bigger opponents. Likewise, the experienced members are also helpful as well, and will welcome you with open arms. Overall had a good time here and would be down to come back for more.

Always have an amazing time training at Gracie St Pete and I'm so glad that I have decided to join and continue to learn! Gabe and Anton are awesome instructors and everybody is helpful and patient even though I don't have much experience yet. A great group of people! Do yourself a favor and try out their free class you definitely won't regret it!

Great gym! Everyone is so welcoming and friendly, and the coaches clearly love teaching. Being new to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, I was a bit intimidated, but the coaches and other students are really helpful and patient with me, and I feel like I've learned a lot in my short time there.As a heads-up, the classes can feel a little overwhelming in the beginning because it feels like everyone else in class knows a language and a shorthand that you don't if you're new, but stick with it because it all starts to fall into place.

Lots of members that keep a high level. Almost exclusively nogi which is great in the hot Florida weather. Great coaches and friendly atmosphere!

I was visiting family in St. Pete for Thanksgiving and looking for open mats. I called ahead, and staff was so helpful and hospitable. Went and rolled with some tremendous people. Incredibly welcoming atmosphere, and I learned a ton from everyone I rolled with! Oss!!!

this place is amazing.the instructors are great.the people are super nice.the environment is very laid back for a martial arts gym.i highly recommend anyone interested to come for a free first class !!!i love this place, and am very grateful i found it. :)

Absolutely fantastic place to train! Whether you’re a beginner or advanced, Gracie St. Pete is a great place to train. Gabe is a passionate instructor who takes care of his students. It does not matter if you’re a hobbyist or a professional fighter, everyone is treated the same and welcomed with open arms to train in a safe and positive environment.

Couldn't ask for better. Friendly atmosphere, more like a family than a school. Lots of focus on technique vs power. The instructors are down-to-earth, knowledgeable, passionate, and dedicated to student success.

I can not say enough about these guys. My daughter has recently went to their week class a to try it out. she was a little nervous due to the fact she was in American kickboxing and karate when she was 6 and thought it was going to be the same. the cool part is Gabe met with us on Saturday to fit our schedule which he was really busy but took the time to talk to my daughter. after that she had her first class. SHE LOVED IT and could not stop talking about it. still i was a little worried it was just cool for now she went to her next class and same reaction. It was not until i received 2 phone calls from my daughters school with teachers asking me what and why such a change in her behavior. she is a great kid but even for the simple intro week she has gained confidence and the want to be included and that was the ultimate decider for me she really wanted to be here. she is 13 years old and is kind of a quiet and shy kid. but with this she has broken out of the shell and is loving this and taking it seriously. she will not stop talking about it.
