This is not to bad for a local gym. Lots of space versus LA Fitness off 4th. The equipment is a little old but lots of great classes for free. Prices of membership is pretty good too.

left youfit because of distance after a move. Found suncoast. Solid gym for anyone at any pace in a fitness journey. Every machine and weight you could think of plus. Staff is always friendly and know you by name. Can't say enough good things - worth every penny.

Hunter is amazing! We did a great walk though when we were thinking about a new gym. Then went down the road to LA fitness and got a tour from a stale load of bread lol and came running back here to sign up. We feel like this is going to be our new home!

Outstanding Fitness Center! Has lots of different types of equipment that can probably accommodate just about anybody's workout and they have lots of classes. The equipment is well-maintained, the gym is extremely clean and the staff is outstanding!

A no frills gym that's friendly and usually not too crowded. Good spin classes, and a thorough weight room. Pricing is fair. Wish they'd upgrade some of the facilities in the future, maybe with treadmills that have fans, and new stretching mats

Awesome place! My sister convinced me to join and I did. The staff is really friendly and the music they play while you work out is really good. Clean equipment and entertaining shows on the tv. Two thumbs up!

Former Gold's gym that is now just a local gym and not part of a franchise. I really only care about lifting weights at the gym so keep that in mind when reading this review. The gym is split into two main areas. One has the free weights and the other is mainly treadmills, stationary bikes and a few machines. The two sides are roughly equal size so the free weight area is pretty big. I have been going in late mornings and never have a problem with equipment being available. Every once in a while there will be someone doing something goofy like curls or kipping pull ups in the squat rack but it is less prevalent than other gyms I have been to. There are two squat racks, two flat barbel benches, two incline barbel benches. Hopefully that gives you an idea of the overall size.

If you want to join this gym, be sure NOT to ask for the manager. He is a pompous, condescending jerk. Also, if cleanliness is important to you, you might want to look elsewhere. 3 of my friends and I joined on a Groupon. They wanted to check it out and I agreed to join with them (as I already had plenty of experience with this facility as a Gold's Gym). Although I am a personal trainer, I also like to workout and I prefer to train with someone as opposed to alone. The Manager accused me of soliciting and training my friends. When we decided to go ahead and join after our Groupon ran out, I was informed that former trainers were not allowed to join, which I find to be interesting as I personally know one that works out there now. At any rate, there is a serious lack of personnel on the floor (except for the trainers) who never rack the weights, or make themselves useful to clientele unless they're getting paid. The Manager surely can't be bothered with anything as paltry as seeing to the gym's cleanliness or upkeep. If you are looking for a pretty good place to workout, check out LA Fitness, same price, much nicer staff and MUCH cleaner.

For 20 years I've worked out at gyms. By far Suncoast Fitness is the best. The staff is always kind and courteous. It feels like home every time I walk in. They have plenty of equipment and space. My favorite part is the shake bar for after workouts. I would recommend Suncoast Fitness to anyone.
