I applied for a membership in January 12 . I went to the gym one time and that was in January. In March, I decided to cancel since I don't have time and I'm not using it. Later on while I'm going through my bank statements, I found out they charge me $52 when I called them ,they said it is for annual fee. I canceled the membership already, and when I was signed up for membership why no one told me I need to pay fee for maintenance. They went to my account and they saw I only use it one time. They told me regardless I have to pay annuall membership fees and they don't want to refund me my money. PLEASE BEFORE YOU SIGN UP FOR ANY MEMBERSHIP ASK SOMEONE WHO IS ALREADY A MEMBERSHIP ELSE YOU WILL NOT GET THE RIGHT INFORMATION.

The place was pretty clean but that annoying bell every 60 seconds. Wow. It is way too loud. I had full over ear headphones across the room & it was still very loud. Cmon man.

Pretty nice gym. There is various workout equipment such as treadmills, bicep curl machine, free weights, and etc. Moreover, it pretty clean. In conclusion I would I recommend this planet fitness 👍 …

On January 19 I enrolled and when I went to train the machines are all hard and without maintenance, really what kind of company is it that they cannot keep the machines in good condition and on top of that they lack things to be able to train well, for now I have to stay there because I just enrolled. They should think that customers must have good machines so that they do not get injured.

The experience there was poor; they removed my lock without my consent and left everything exposed; they could have emailed you to notify you of their intentions, but they chose not to do so, which is really rude of them.

OMG the worst gym ever. One of the staff members was extremely rude. I'm a club member and he came into the locker room while I was showering, rushing me out. It wasn't like he was cleaning it, because he was on the phone making personal calls. The second time he came in rushing me again. He said if I didn't hurry up he's going to call the cops. I was shocked! I reported the incident to the manager and he did nothing. I have never been so disrespected and harassed by an employee before. The PF in tamarac needs to train their employees on customer service and how to treat club members. That was unacceptable smh...worst experience!!! Won't come back

Roach in the locker room. I stomped it and gave 2 employees a heads up. One said "these things happen" and I had to advise I was alerting them so they could call a service to correct the pest infestation. 3 weeks later I attempt to a follow up at the front desk but wait patiently while one manager named Marlon opines to another manager about someone not showing up for work the previous day and how that person doesnt want to step up and declined a manager position and then they undermine someone else who did step up. The female manager then asks if I needed something. I mentioned the roach incident and without turning around, Marlon has a full conversation with me as he leans on the counter but faces away from me. He said "i wish somebody would have killed the roach...it was only one roach". To which I reply, "Right, but the point was to alert you guys and have it sprayed." Based on his change in tone and tenor, Marlon was now annoyed and advised "we get service once a month", still facing away and seemingly unconcerned about anything I had to say. When I asked if it was a corporate or franchise location, Marlon piped up "Franchise". When I asked for the contact info, Marlon stated "Im the owner too and followed up by pointing towards the counter and instructing his female manager to give me his card. While doing so, Marlon stated "everything comes back to me so if theres a problem, let me know." I assured him I would. This is that notification.

Just walked in here and the place is filthy.. people who come in as well as the people working here both play a part on how cleanliness is maintained but I don’t believe it’s cleaned by employees properly.

I absolutely love this gym I am so glad I signed up with planet fitness they definitely make me feel comfortable without feeling intimidated and the environment is amazing this gym has helped me stay determined and consistent with trying to lose weight 💜💪🏽🔥🔥 hit recommend and bonus they are 24 hours so definitely a win win …

Today I went to the gym and asked my membership to be canceled and I encountered a very rude white male who was very arrogant and disrespectful; he like had a chip on his shoulders and I could sense an attitude upon asking about canceling my membership; I had previously called planet fitness and requested membership canceled and was instructed I had to go into gym to get canceled; the guy told me I had to go to the gym I chose and he could not find my name; he was so upset he didn’t ask me for my membership on my phone and I have planet fitness icon and membership there when I check into gym; I told him I did not recall choosing a specific gym and I wanted to cancel membership; I asked for a manager and he says his supervisor wasn’t available and gave me a business card; He told me you can leave now! Very nasty and not customer friendly or membership friendly! I have never been treated so rude and disrespectful by anyone in a public gym! My phone number is
