Supervisor at afternoon shift Ali very unpolite and rude. Don't want to honor coupons when screen shot on phone. Service does suck in the area so I couldn't get into my emails. To worried about holding hands and going to Disneyland trips with other female associate. Rude staff!!!!!!

So update your hours on line. This is horrible. The sign on the door say 830. How about update your hours for your customers so they know when you close. Call before you go!

Disappointed over shoe selection, sales person was a little different. Bought 2 pair of shoes, ended up bringing one pair back. No issues. The store is small so that is probably why they don't have the depth of merchandise. Would I go back again? That's the million dollar question! Maybe not for shoes.....hmmm :^>

Went in to get soccer cleats for our daughter and the staff was friendly and helpful. They had multiple great options and the overall experience was outstanding. There is no need to go anywhere else for your sporting needs.

Went to Big 5 for a pair of pickleball/tennis shoes. Tried on 3 pairs and wound up with the Asics Gel-Dedicate-7. The only small problem was the display shoe had a price of $59.99 but the box that the shoes came in had a $69.99 price. Was charged a higher price and told the manager the dilemma. Had to walk to the back of the store to prove that the shoe was $59. I got the lesser price without any confrontation.The cashier was courteous. The help on the floor was good too.

Customer service at this location does not exist. The staff acts like they are doing you a favor being there. They do not stand by their coupons and if you ask them to produce the exclusions in writing when denying a coupon, they refuse. We have purchased thousands of dollars of goods and this store and there is no service. We need to go back to a society where customer service is expected and poor service is not rewarded. We no longer shop at Big 5 in Surprise. Our money spends at many other stores where they are kind to us and appreciate our business. This Big 5 location needs a management overhaul.

Phenomenal customer service. My family is going on a hiking trip this weekend so we were in the store buying hundreds of dollars of equipment. The service we received was nothing short of amazing. I wish I could call all 3 of them out by name but unfortunately I did not get their names. So to the 3 of you that were working on the night of Sept 1st, thank you so much and you guys are truly amazing. I wish everyone working in customer service had your values. I'll definitely be back especially if I get my "first responder" or "nurse" discount I got from Tempe. 😉P.S. we love our hiking boots!
