This gym is the best I've ever gone to. I've tried a couple, and I get more out of the workouts, and feel healthier and safer here than anywhere else. Andrew runs it great, and is always super friendly. The workouts are designed well, and there is always an alternative exercise if you don't feel confident doing something.My wife and I have always said Andrew is like a physical therapist. He always has a good stretch, workout, or remedy for any injury. All the other members of the gym are fun to workout with, as they're from all walks of life. Unfortuneately, I've had to stop due to being too far, but I hope to find another gym like this one.

This is a great box with a welcoming owner in Andrew and a group of down to earth folks who are willing to help anyone on any movement. The classes are challenging but Andrew helps modify any workout if you are just getting into classes. I love that they have a mid day workout which you can do on a lunch break. The facility is clean and has a shower. Would highly recommend this gym.

Was visiting Phoenix for work and dropped in at free range for much needed pre-work workouts. Andrew and the AM regulars were really welcoming, and the workouts were great. Will be back when i come visit again!

I visited Free Range for a week during a trip to Phoenix around Thanksgiving. Andrew employs a challenging and varied programming, but thanks to his coaching you never feel out of your depth or overwhelmed. This is my go-to gym whenever I'm in the area. Thanks Andrew!

Been doing Crossfit since 2019 and have been going to Free Range Crossfit for nearly a full year. I went from regressing to being unable to do a single pushup fresh out of the COVID era and slightly overweight to being in better shape than I was pre-COVID, deadlifting more than my bodyweight and 35 lbs lighter. Andrew Butters is a great coach who is very supportive and extremely knowledgeable of helping you get to your fitness goals. Best Crossfit box I have ever been to, hands down.

This box is awesome. The workouts are challenging, varied and fun in the group environment. Truly all skill levels are welcomed and supported. Coach Butters has a real heart for coaching and will modify workouts as needed for any past injuries. I highly recommend Free Range CF.

I have been a member of this gym for about 4 months. The coaches here are awesome! They make sure you have scaling options and make sure you know proper form in whatever variation you are doing. They emphasize good form and would prefer you scale or stick with lighter weight so that form is not compromised so you can be a long term athlete. They work around injuries and give tips on stretches or drill you can do.The work outs kick your butt each and every time (in a good way)! If you've been thinking about trying crossfit, this is the gym to try it at!

If you are dropping in from another affiliate (or wanting to find an excellent CrossFit box), this place is a must-try. Not only they are excellent coaches, they are very friendly it doesn't feel like you're just visiting. Good WOD and coaches are hands-on. Members seems to be welcoming too which makes them a good community. Highly recommended!!

This is an awesome gym. The people were super friendly and motivated. I had a great time rocking Yokes with Matt under the sun and trying to do muscle ups with Mike and Sean teaching me how to. They were very helpful. Anybody that wants to work out in the Phoenix area should definitely go there. They won't be disappointed.
