24 Hour Fitness in Torrance, CA, offers a variety of gym equipment and amenities within its relatively small space. The gym has both aerobic and weight-training areas, with pools and saunas available for its members. While some reviewers praised the effort of individual staff like Brandy for cleanliness and customer service, many have raised concerns about the overall condition and upkeep of the facilities.

Customer feedback highlights significant issues with broken equipment, cleanliness, and management responsiveness. Many machines remain in disrepair for long periods, and sanitary conditions in bathrooms and other areas fall short. Despite its convenient location and friendly staff, the gym’s reduced operating hours and ongoing maintenance problems detract from the overall experience.

It's Close and although they could use to update some of their equipment it's a bit cleaner than some other locations. Tends to get a bit crowded, especially now with the buddy pass option, but Good gym. 💪I prefer this location over the other Torrance locations. …

When will it actually be “24 hour fitness” again? This is ridiculous to pay for a membership that the brand literally says it’s 24 hours in its own name yet does not abide by that! Some of us work nights and can’t get a workout in due to the false hours advertised. Maybe change the name to 14hr fitness or charge less money for services you don’t provide at every location.

24 Hr fitness is a so so fitness center.I was very disappointed to find out the tread mills in the 2nd floor were non working units (about 3) and 3 more units with broken heart rate bars.***No paper towels in the Men's shower rooms, both upstair and downstair rooms.I can speculate the same applies to the women's shower rooms.

I came back to 24 after Covid and it’s got mold in the bathrooms the shower area the pool area and the sauna. It has a musty dirty smell. It doesn’t look like they did anything when they were closed. They just let it sit. Pretty gross.

Very poor maintenance of equipment, lots of machines don't work. (stationey bikes next to the front desk-readouts not working but one). Men's restroom upstairs, one of two urinals was at the brink of overflowing the entire hour and half I was there (put out of service,?). The weight pins on equipment machines can be missing for a week. Staff (Mgr) has inaction for "maskless" complaint.Lockroom sign says "locker room closed daily at 1:30 pm.for cleaning" Inside lockers look like they have "never" been wiped down.

Regarding personal training, what can I say about Brendan? He is knowledgeable about his craft and has excellent interpersonal skills. When I work with him, I have his undivided attention, no cell phone or bored looks - he is genuinely interested in improving my physical well-being. He is down to earth and encouraging finding my limit and gently pushing slightly above it to progress. I highly recommend Brendan for personal training! Worth every penny.

Easily the worst 24 I've ever been to. There is a whole section of cardio machines upstairs which have all been broken for over 9 months. I've pointed it out to staff and it's pretty clear they aren't going to do anything about it until someone gets hurt from their broken equipment. I'm talking about ellipticals that randomly shut off on you, exercise bikes where the seat post randomly comes loose, and dirty machines with their wires sticking out. I've been making videos of all the issues with their equipment and bringing it up to staff so the fact that they keep broken equipment out there for months is beyond negligence. Don't go here

The place is nasty. Girls at the front are rude and seams like you are inconveniencing them when you want to sign up for a membership. Started with a tour and girl was rude. I asked if she could just let me tour alone. And she rudely responded “you can do whatever you want and rolled her eyes” I toured the facility and found it to be dirty and grimy every corner. Looked like a prison gym. (They probably keep prisons cleaner). Anyways I walked out and told them it’s the nastiest gym I’ve ever seen.

Brandy keeps the lady's locker room clean and fresh! She is also in terrific shape being a Trainer herself. Lots of variety of equipment small but always a machine. Only down Patrons should wipe the machines post use and flush the toilets keep muddy feet off the wet floor. Brandy is not your Maid nor Babysitter she can only do so much I come to work out so I just make do few complains
