I have been meaning to have our children try out martial arts for some time now. I reached out to AKA and not only were they very responsive but offered us a trial day. The class was small for the littles which allowed for focused attention which I appreciated. Membership is reasonable and studio was very nice and clean. Needless to say we signed up both our kids by the end of our visit.

I’ve been going here since the day it opened always loved it and love to see it grow from the kids to the adults. Great coaches with much experience who continue to grow themselves training each other. The hardest part is walking through the doors take that risk Join the team it can only benefit you 👍🏼 …

Great place to train especially if you are interested in really learning and furthering you martial arts skill. You will learn new techniques daily and they provide you with the right instructions on how you can learn even on your own as well. Coach Dom is definitely easy to talk to and he understand where you come from especially if you are going through a rough time. Definitely recommend!

I have been training here since they opened two years ago. I was taking one class everyday and loved my instructor. They cancelled the class two days after taking my membership fee of $125 out of my account. I have requested a refund for February as what I paid for is no longer available. No warning. No communication. Just took my money and cancelled my classes. I am completely disgusted with them and their business practices. Was forced to select one star....Update....they replaced a black belt instructor with an brown belt and told me the new one is black. Only took two minutes of research to find out he’s not a black belt. You said you would refund my Feb dues. Not all Jiu Jitsu is the same. Plus the other new striking coach makes me extremely uncomfortable, and as a female in a gym environment my comfort is extremely important.

AKA Tracy is a great place for kids. The owner, Kent, was very friendly to my child and managed to convince him to try it out after I tried several times unsuccessfully. There are many children on weekdays and they all seem to be having a good time learning. The only challenge is for kids who are new and afraid of joining in a larger group. Weekends may be better for children who are just starting since the group size is generally much smaller.

AKA Tracy has been great for my nine year old son. I was struggling finding a sport he would take to and at the same time he was dealing with some mean kids at school. He had developed a tick and was feeling down. World Gym next door was marketing the new studio and without hesitation I signed my son up. Within a few months his tick was completely gone, he gained an incredible amount of confidence and absolutely loves his instructor Bruno!! He has advanced his belt and looks forward to every practice. It’s been really great as mother to watch this transformation.

My daughter just got her purple belt. She loves coming to AKA after school and I love that she's doing so well! Plus, World Gym is right next door! Sean and all his instructors are great with the kids as well as their instruction. I would highly recommend AKA if you want a professional environment and kids that are learning great things and love it at the same time.
