World Gym Tracy stands out as a solid old-school option for gym-goers at 2340 East St, Tracy, CA. It offers an impressive range of equipment, from free weights to powerlifting gear, making it ideal for serious lifters. The staff is friendly and accommodating, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. Despite some outdated and poorly maintained equipment, the gym manages to provide decent value for its affordable membership fees.

Will need a tetanus shot after every gym session, gym is incredibly dark and depressing

Trying to stop my membership since march… stopped by the gym and call multiple times and they keep charging me. Such nightmare !!!!

Price went up exponentially since since 2020. I paid UNDER $300 for a year membership that year and now it went up to $500 a year?? All I've got as an excuse what "it costs money to run a business." While I do understand that, being a business owner myself, but that's a hell of a price hike!I'm still going to join for a year again because it's way better than Planet Fitness. However, the price hike BETTER reflect on how they maintain their equipment! Last time I was there, some of the equipment was down and the cushionings/pads on some were cracking.

I have a full gym in my garage, I've been going to gyms since I was 15 yrs old training for Football. I'm old school.in the aspect of not being bugged while im.lifting , I have a program and it works. The only gym I've been to that has the old school atmosphere here in Tracy is WORLD GYM. A lot of pig iron and free weights, these are huge for me . Plus the machines are great for heavy lifting . Some are outdated but they work.I get bored and lack.motivation sometimes. Lifting solo in my garage gym , so it is a nice break to get out to a gym . The staff is great. Very accommodating. I'd recommend World Gym and say it gotta be the top.gym in Tracy right now

Outstandingly Gross, albeit OK gym. The bathrooms/shower area is absolutely unacceptable. I had to attach pictures to let you know that I AM NOT exaggerating. The urinals appear to have not been cleaned for months- and the odor... good god. Counters are literally falling apart, with (black?) mold growing. The tiles in the shower are so filthy and the stench so horrid that I just went home in my sweaty clothes. NO way in hell I would set foot in there. Outside of that, this a decent gym. Good variety of equipment, fairly serious clients and while the music is invariable gangster rap without exceptions.. I would be able to let that go if it weren't for the disgusting facilities.

Small gym with all the basic necessities. Little tough to get in a good workout when it’s crowded though. Staff is great. Do what they can and very accommodating.Edit: 11/19 Despite the ample signage asking that people re-rack their weights, clients are regularly leaving areas messy, not returning weights, and putting things just plain where they do not belong. 3/5

As Gyms go, I’ve been to worse…I’ve been going to this gym regularly since around April when my old gym closed down. Why this gym is great:• It’s got pretty much all of the gear you’ll ever need to get the job done- four squat racks, several places to deadlift, a healthy assortment of benches and machines to get the ancillary work in. They even have a belt squat, although it breaks all the time because of that gimmicky cable. Plenty of dumbbells and weight plates to achieve any level of progressive overload.• Open hours are seven days a week and manageable for most lifestyles.• The front desk staff are very friendly and helpful.• The price is very affordable for what you get. I took the 6 month package for $150, which came to $25/mo. Lesser gyms will charge you way more than that. Here’s what this gym really needs to work on:• Roughly 80% of all of the machines and benches need to be reupholstered. They are in real shoddy shape and that reflects poorly on this gym’s aesthetic.• That cable machine, in the back, can certainly be replaced with something newer and more adjustable.• Better maintenance is a must! We have equipment down for more than a week and that’s unacceptable.• The restroom can certainly do with a complete overhaul.(I’ll happily pay more to see some of these weak areas improved on.)All in all, this is the best gym in town now. Sadly, that tells you all you need to know about how terrible Tracy is as a place for business.

Great gym with lots of equipment. The staff is really nice and the shakes are delicious. The membership fees are really reasonable as well. The owner seems to be committed to making sure that clients are satisfied, and it's safe for me to say that I definitely am.This is a gym where you come to lift or do cardio. There's no pool or tennis courts, and the price reflects that. Regardless, this gym is great for what it's meant to be.

I'm in town conducting military training, so I utilized this gym on a Saturday for strength and endurance training.I paid $10 to use the gym for the day, which wasn't a big deal. This is an old school fitness facility, with dated equipment. The staff was friendly but didn't give me an overview of what they offered.I chose this gym specifically for the rowers (which I saw on the website photos), but couldn't find them. Additionally, the treadmill I used was very old and actually caught on fire.I'm not sure if I'll return, but it's more than enough to substitute in lieu of my home fitness facilities.

Nice gym. Lots of good equipment, and friendly to powerlifters without being unfriendly to everyone else. They sell some nutrition stuff, but I don't really know if it is good or not. The front desk was really flexible in working out a temporary membership and I appreciated their friendliness as well. Best gym in Tracy!
