You can find good jiu jitsu in a lot of places but you can’t replace great culture. Had a great time at Ethos with professor Chad and I will be back!

Really solid group of guys, the kick boxing coach Cody is first class. This guy runs 2 different groups during each session and still makes sure your form is crispy. The sparring between you and the other fighters is as tough or easy as you want it.

I love this place! I moved from out of state to Tyler without knowing anyone here, and the owners, staff, & members have all been so welcoming to me! Plus, you get a good mix of MMA, Muay Thai, Gi & no Gi Jujitsu, & Wrestling!

I had the opportunity to try out Jiu Jitsu for the first time here. They let me do a free trial and I had a great time. The instructors were very friendly and knowledgeable. Their facility is nice and well equipped. There are friendly regulars of all skill levels. Thank you Ethos!

I have trained a decent amount and have been to many gyms for seminars and such and this gym, this team is legit. High level talent and people just discovering the benefits of mixed martial arts/Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu all come together to form a great inclusive atmosphere rich in proper technique and learning. After moving here permanently I have found a new home. All the coaches are amazing first and foremost and the gym energy is electric everyone is humble and focused. If you're on the fence just try it you'll love it they offer a free week as well.

Last week, I was working in Tyler, Texas and I wanted to get some Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training in while there. After work one day, I visited Ethos Jiu Jitsu and Martial Arts and I immediately found the people working there to be very friendly and helpful. The next day I attended an open mat and I received a warm welcome and I was able to get in some controlled and solid rounds in both Gi and No-Gi. There are very good people training at Ethos. The facility was great with plenty of mat space, a cage area and a striking area with plenty of bags. In addition, there was a changing room which was great since I went there right after work and there are restrooms and areas for people to sit and observe.I will be working on and off in Tyler going forward and I will definitely drop in to train here in the future!

Incredibly friendly staff and team. This is the nicest academy I’ve ever trained at and the mat space is enormous. If you’re looking for a great place to train Jiu Jitsu or MMA look no further than Ethos! One of the most welcoming groups of people I’ve ever trained with. Thank you John for making me feel like part of the team upon arrival. Can’t wait to visit again!
