Crunch Fitness - San Lorenzo is a friendly and affordable gym. It offers a wide variety of equipment, including treadmills, squat racks, and cable machines. The staff is noted for their exceptional customer service and welcoming attitude, making it a great place for individuals seeking a non-judgmental environment. However, it tends to get very crowded, especially during peak hours.

While Crunch Fitness maintains cleanliness to a fair degree, the gym could improve on restocking paper towels and servicing their machines more frequently. Despite some drawbacks, the low monthly cost and the supportive atmosphere make it a good option for those prioritizing affordability and friendly service.

Pros:

  • Friendly and supportive staff.
  • Affordable monthly and annual fees.
  • Good variety of equipment.
  • Non-judgmental environment.
  • Effective customer service.
  • Hydromassage table available.
  • Offers tanning booths.
  • Clean locker rooms.

Cons:

  • Often crowded, especially at peak times.
  • Machines and treadmills frequently out of order.
  • Limited parking space.

This is the great gym when you are alone, but there are people that give me advice for fixing posture when I workout. I was working out on thanksgiving and many people there.

Great gym! Great staff! Great environment to work out in, especially on days where discipline is used instead of motivation.

1-. It's always so crowded, which is ok, but hella people don't even know what they are doing and just take space 😒2-. also, please, no Mexican music, especially that peso pluma guy 😂 no Mexican music is workout music. Trust me, I am literally Mexican. When you guys put that sh!t on, it makes me wanna go get me a michelada or something 😂3-.Please get one or two more leg press machines more because there's always a line to use it...4-. All the machines are hella dirty, I remember when you guys used to keep everything so clean...5-. You have to put more paper dispenser and keep them restocked all the time, they usually run out of paper by 9 pm...

Joined back in mid-2021 and recently canceled my membership.Highlights:-low monthly cost and annual fees.-fairly clean place.-has all the basics.-friendly staff.Lowlights:-really small gym, but to be expected.-absolutely packed house at peak hours.-small parking lot.-never fail to see groups of 4+ usually camping at a machine taking turns.-paper towel dispensers and spray bottles empty quick.-treadmills and various machines usually out of service for quite some time. For what's offered, Crunch's pricing is not bad at all. I'll be paying more for a different gym, so hoping for a better experience.

Great gym, however, it always feels like its peak hours. Really crowded from morning until night, especially in the squat racks, free weight, and turf area.

The worst experience here. When I join the free trial the representative told me I can have 1 month trial and and cancel it anytime within one month . But they charge me a month when I request cancellation. Will not come back again. They just like to join the membership but not take any responsibility after that.

This Crunch fitness branch in San Lorenzo is my hub as far as gym goes. I come here mostly to take a hot shower because I work through the night as a Medical personal. I have the option of patronizing Planet Fitness, 24Hours fitness close by . The reason I am stuck with Crunch is because of the excellent marketing genius of the trio at San Leandro, namely, Hunter , Chris and Cameron. These trio are the best Crunch can hire, they know how not to loose a customer , goes above and beyond to make sure a customer gets his or her money’s worth . They know why am there and always make sure the water is warm. They are truly the reason for customer flow and they remain a great assets to Crunch fitness. I will continue to come here as long as they are here. Kudos to Crunch for hiring knowledgeable, customer oriented staff👍✊🙏Ike MD.

Great place with a good vibe. I just wish they had a Syngery station for calisthenics. Staff is very friendly and Amanda is the best!
