Maximum Fitness Vacaville

Friday 8/18/23 - 9:20 PMI was so excited about the later hours... open until 10 PM... FINALLY!! But if you're going to start closing down at 9:20 PM, then what's the point? I was on the treadmill and an employee turned off the TV monitors while I was watching... and then turned off the music... am I supposed to be getting the hint to leave now? C'mon guys... I was about to cancel my membership and head to Healthspring Fitness now that they're opening up again. I want to support Veterans, but I get off work late and want to avoid the crowds. 🥴Friday 8/18/23 - 9:45 PMNow an employee walked by while saying he was trying to get out of here. Ok. I get the hint. I just stopped my workout and won't stretch so I can leave. Why do you say you're open until 10:00 PM?Tuesday 8/22/23Just joined Active (formerly Healthspring Fitness). They're open until 11:00 PM. I'll be cancelling my membership at Maximum next time I stop by. Maximum staff needs training in customer service.

Maximum fitness is such a great gym!!! I highly recommend you and anyone you know to join. The staff is super friendly and has great customer service. Also the gym has all the equipment you need and is clean. My daughter loves the kid club too!!!!

Great gym and helpful staff, best trainers you could have and the pool and sauna are excellent to relax from the training.

Edit: I wrote my original review two weeks ago in exchange for a free month of my membership, as they are and were having that deal at the moment. However, when I let them know about my review being submitted they had already charged for this month's membership. I let them know that this month would be my last month and if I could be refunded for this month. They took a week to get back to me and are saying that they can not refund me and that my free month would be August, even though they had been informed that this month would be my last. In my original review I wrote positive things about this gym but in all honesty I have more cons than pros about this place.Original: This is a very convenient gym as it is located in Downtown Vacaville, offers all sorts of classes including cycling, barre, HIIT, and lately even boxing, and they have fitness trainers available for their members. However, if you are interested in the classes make sure to call or communicate with the instructors/front desk about their schedules as their class hours are inconsistent.

Such a great gym!! Love that there is a Sauna too. Has all the equipment I need to get my workouts done.

I’ve been a member since fall of 2021 and have always been impressed by the attentiveness of the staff to keep the facility clean. There are also tons of choices and equipment availability on most days. I’ve managed to maintain a consistent routine and come on average twice a week and have gone down two pants sizes. Thank you maximum fitness staff for providing a quality facility for your customers!

I’ve been coming to this gym for about 20 years. It’s a great atmosphere with a great set-up. Classes are awesome and the pool is amazing

My whole family trains here! It’s a great gym, we love the weight section, plenty of cardio options and a great locker room. Wouldn’t go anywhere else in Vacaville.

Would be the best gym around if they were open later or 24 hours. Also can’t stand that machines go broken for so long without getting/being fixed. Trainers are legit. Equipment is top tier. What’s up with the stupid “no phone use allowed” in the locker room? If you had better lighting in the gym maybe I would not have this complaint, but the locker room has the best lighting for progress photos. Been going to this gym for 5 years now.

Very nice equipment, excellent jacuzzi and indoor heated pool. Check in is very smooth. Hours work for me 430am to 9pm, Mon - Fri; closes at 6pm weekend. Gym lists when hot tub is cleaned so you don't have to worry about a random cleaning throwing off your plan to soak.
