The absolute best fitness center around. You certainly get what you came for all packed into 1 hour. The workouts are truly through. I am seeing & feeling results galore in the 2 short months I've been a member. My muscle tone is back & I can niw fit in old clothes again. All of the instructors I've experienced so far are just top notch. Omar really challenges me & knows just when to have me try something more. I just, love, love, love his instruction. Great facility, great classes, great Instructors! Well worth the cost of membership. You certainly get what you pay for at this one in Pinole.

I love Orangetheory (OT). I also love the reception at every studio I’ve been - mostly in the East Bay but also Boston when I travel for work (another reason I love OT). This review is specifically for the reception at Pinole, CA OT.I’ve recently attended my first classes in Pinole. Instructors are amazing and the members are too. First run in with a young woman at reception, I believe her name is Megan, is when I late cancelled a class (lost credit for not cancelling within 8 hours). It was the night before so I thought it was 8, but honestly hadn’t thought much about it. When I asked her why it showed as late cancelled she questioned me- “now explain what happened?” Sort of like a teacher speaking to a Kinder. I told her I didn’t know and she looked up the time of my cancel. Let me pause right here. I have not stepped foot inside an OT that would have even gone down that path. Members are usually given the benefit of the doubt and they would have kindly looked it up and figured something out. I was asked to explain myself. Turn out I missed the cancel by a couple hours. She did the math for me - out loud - (side eye) and sent me on my way. I thought it was an odd interaction but decided perhaps it was me, and after all it was my bad.Second run in was Halloween, which ends OT Hell week (4 workouts in 8 days you get a shirt). I joined the challenge online and it doesn’t say anything about where your last class needs to be in order to be congratulated and gifted for completion. I attended a 5AM class in Pinole which should have concluded Hell Week for me. I walked out proudly and said “I finished!” She was like…”ummm did you sign up here?” If not we only have limited shirts. She went on to point around the gym and say “that’s why we’ve had signs up (even though they aren’t up anymore).” I was wondering how I would have seen a sign if I don’t regularly attend in Pinole and if I signed up with OT online why it would matter anyway. Instead of simply asking my size to see if they had a darn shirt, she instructed me to go back to my home gym in Emeryville, Ca. What!!?? Also, was I not worthy of the “limited amount” they had left? Or at least check to see if she had one in my size? She checked the computer and it was clear as day that I was enrolled in the challenge.I called my home gym as soon as I left and they said of course they have a shirt for me. In fact “they have plenty of shirts in case members finish the challenge at a different location. It is what is expected.”Y’all, it’s not about the shirt. It’s about reception in Pinole going above and beyond to NOT be helpful or to think one step outside of the box . Proudly giving C+ service as if I did something wrong (which I had not), and as if they don’t want to see me back or welcome me. As if it’s ok to not put forth an ounce of effort to help a paying member standing there at dark ocklock in the morning. Perhaps I’m spoiled because other OTs are so amazing; always A+, going the mile with fun energy. This experience unfortunately has been quite the opposite.

Coach Brian is my favorite Coach at Pinole. I’m always here on Tuesday and Thursday for his classes. He always takes the time to demo exercises and answer questions, as well as creating a sense of community in his classes with his jokes and words of encouragement to keep us all going. He is great! If you haven’t taken a class with him, you should sign up! 👍👍

I love Orangetheory. They have the best coaches and great workouts. The coaches motivate and instruct you, but also give you space to do what you're comfortable doing. I highly recommend it.

Best result driven workouts in an environment that is challenging, motivating and fun …love my coaches Brian & Beth. Staff is friendly and fellow members I’ve met are also great. I always look forward to getting up usually by 5am or 6am to get my workout in 😊 …

I guess this is a good place if you are looking for functional training. They are too strict with the 30 min first day induction, they basically teach you how to use a treadmill and rower. If you get there 10 min before on your first day then they will not give you the induction

I love the workouts and the coaches. All of them are friendly and encouraging. I have never loved to workout as much as I do at orange theory. My only complaint is that they don’t have enough classes. There are times when I would love to attend a mid day class but we don’t have enough coaches or I guess members to justify this investment. It’s really too bad. I also am a little confused about the whole “you’re family” thing but then you get charged $10 if you forget you HRM and want to borrow one, $14 if you miss a class (I get this one but wish it was closer to $10), you get charge for the body composition machine (your first one should be free as a welcome baseline thing). That part is a little weird. Has a money pit feel. However I guess these charges make me make sure my HRM is always charged and with me and that I don’t sign up for a class unless I am 100% sure I will make it.

I was anxious about going to Oranetheory since I am older, heavier and out of shape. Everyone has been so fantastic and friendly from the first moment I walked through the door. No one is watching or judging me - well, expect the coaches, do keep an eye on your form and offer help if your form is off. Everyone else is in their own zone focusing on their workout. The staff is incredible, friendly and super helpful!! Even if you are slightly considering joining I say do it! I am very glad I did and I am sure you will be too.

Motivating workout that will get you into shape fast. Trainers are great. They make sure your form is proper and guide you through the workouts. Classes are designed for both beginners and people who already work out. Although it's expensive, totally worth it for people who need motivate.

What a wonderful place to work out. I happened to lose 30 lbs in the first 2-3 months working out for one hour 4-5 times per week. If you like variety this is the place for you. I have not had the same workout in 4 months. There is always something new and fresh in the program. The coaches all have different styles - all positive. The front staff is always friendly and smiling and greet you by name. This place is worth every penny!
