I took advantage of the promo for 3 classes and it was a great experience. The workouts are challenging and fun. The coaches are great! Definitely signing up for more classes.Update: I signed up for more classes and it’s been wonderful! I enjoy being able to just show up and having a plan set by the coaches. I’m actually working out my goal of 3 days a week 💪🏽

I always love the small community based gyms like this one. The kick-boxing classes are awesome, as well as the spin and Zumba instructors. Instructors are positive, and knowledgeable. I've also taken 1:1 training which kept me on track/healthy. Clean and follow Covid guidelines, lots of parking.

I cannot say enough good things about this studio. If you’re on the fence about whether or not to purchase a class pack from their website - JUST DO IT! The instructors are knowledgeable, accommodating, and will push you in a way that meets your needs. Joe Ruiz, the owner, has been super helpful in getting me back to my fitness journey. Don’t let the “boot camp” name fool you, all levels can do this and we all start somewhere, you will get the challenge you need and it’s a great way to support LOCAL businesses in El Cerrito/Richmond/Pinole and I feel a part of a community there. Just go for it !

UPDATE 12/20/22: I've been going to X-Fit for about 6 months now and absolutely love working out here. The workouts are challenging as they are rewarding. The trainers are excellent and patient, super friendly. Each trainer is very different in how they run their classes, so you get exposed to different styles in how they run their circuits. I especially love the boxing classes with Lance, Avory, and Dominique, as well as the HIIT, cardio and core, and muscle mass boot camps. There is a really nice community vibe at this gym. The people who take classes here are all very welcoming. I highly recommend X-Fit!----Dominique is a great teacher. He made me feel very comfortable during boxing class, helping me build up confidence with the movements. I've always been super intimidated with boxing and he helped me overcome that in the first class. It was a great workout. I would definitely come back to the boxing class, and to try other classes he teaches.

I love because you can have a full body work out, and the trainers are real, and will let you know to go at your own or safe pace. Not being in a gym for more than 20yrs, I find X-Fit is the best for me at the age 70.

X-Fit has become a regular fitness program in my workout routine. The instructors are knowledgable & challenging. X-Fit offers a variety of classes at all times of the day. They have an excellently equipped studio and flexibility in attending their satellite El Cerrito location.

My daughter (7yrs) has been attending the Tuesday/Thurs classes since the beginning of October & she loves it. It's one of the few times she has wanted to come to a class, making us feel that this is money well spent. We are very pleased with the coaches, the skills our daughter is learning and the non competative environment. The kids work on agility, balance and learn muscle control. There is a definite sense if accomplishment when a skill is completed and the next week It's a little easier-building our daughter's sense of accomplishment. We hope to continue with the classes into Spring 2019. I woukd recommend this for ages 5 to maybe 9 year olds.
