Derek Gustafson is a great goalie coach. He has worked with our daughter for two years. He has developed her both technically and mentally as a goalie. He is clearly vested in the success of his goalies and works to build a strong community among the goalies to all support one another.

Derek Gustafson, former Goalie in NHL, AHL, ECHL, etc, is a phenomenal Goalie coach. My Daughter started hockey 4 1/2 years ago and because of his coaching she now plays 19U AA Hockey. His dedication to see his athletes succeed both on his Synthetic Ice and throughout their hockey career is impressive. We are thankful to have found him. My son has been a student of Coach Gustafson for 6 years at least. He has molded my son and others into elite goaltenders. Coach is always patient but demanding. He knows how to coach young athletes for the physical and mental rigors that being a goalie demands.

Coach Derek Gustafson has been a part of our son's life since he started playing Goalie 6 years ago. His skills with the kids ages, styles and personalities are unmatched by anyone I have ever met. From Mite to Professional levels, Coach Derek brings all the tools to help Goaltenders to get to the next level. He pushes the kids to do thier best, work hard and enjoy the role that they want to play on the team. We cannot say enough great things about Coach Gustafson and Challenge Hockey. Chris G.
