Visiting Vancouver for the first time this weekend from Austin, Texas, and the 90-minute 26+2 class I took from Rachel was perhaps the BEST class I've taken [outside my home studio] ;-). I read the reviews before coming to the studio, and I can echo all that they tout. Hot Yoga Vancouver delivers the real deal 26+2 in a compassionate, all-inclusive manner. The owner Rachel was welcoming, friendly, and taught a crisp and precise 90-minute class. I cannot recommend this studio enough. WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE!

This is an excellent hot yoga studio with amazing and very patient teachers, and a good variety of classes. One of the most crucial aspects is that they offer classes later in the day and early in the morning too - so I’m still able to fit a 90 minute class with my work schedule. It’s beginner to advanced students friendly and there’s a good emphasis on practice rather than “perfection”. Really glad to have found my yoga home.

HYV is awesome! The instructors are friendly & helpful. You walk in & feel a sense of community. I came here after injuring myself from over running and bad back from sitting at a desk for years. The classes helped me heal my body while giving me the best workout I have ever had! It also helped me with stress release & I find I am a more peaceful & happy person.

I’m a huge fan of this place. They’ve built a great, diverse community here, and that’s what it feels like—a community. There are several different instructors, each with her or his own personal style, but they all care about the students and the studio. The instructors regularly takes classes at the studio when they’re not leading the class themselves, including the owner. I think this speaks to their commitment the community, and also to how much they love it.Also, if you haven’t taken Bikram hot yoga before (I.e, 26 & 2), it is AMAZING. I’m a former—very former 😉—competitive athlete, and I can’t recall any exercise I’ve participated in that was so cleansing as Bikram yoga. I literally feel energized for an entire day after taking a class, and it melts away stress.I’ve been coming for five months now. At first, I was just trying to survive the class (and the heat), but more recently, I’m seeing myself getting back into good shape and improving my practice slowly bur surely. In any case, this is a really special place, and I’m grateful Vancouver has it!

HYV is awesome, great space and community! I have been a monthly member for a few months now and love the staff and studio. I have practiced 26-2 in other studios for years but I love that this studio has more than just the 26-2 classes. The variety is fun and helpful to your practice. The studio is clean and the instructors are all amazing. My knee injuries from years of running are healing and my nerve pain from an auto immune disease is immensely improved.

Best yoga studio in town! I've been coming here since 2019 and the place never skips a beat! They offer good old fashioned 90 minute 26&2 most days of the week along with a host of other class offerings including a 60 minute version, yin yoga, power yoga, integrated hatha, and a variety of workshops. No unnecessary microphones or distracting strobe lights--just yoga. The facility is top notch, with huge heaters and humidifiers allowing the room to easily reach 105 degrees and 40% humidity. They have changing rooms WITH showers and secure places to store belongings. And the place is spotless, always clean and well ventilated which is particularly impressive given how much sweating goes on here! The teachers are all spectacular too. Each one is super knowledgeable, skilled and approachable. They're always willing to answer questions and help students further and deepen their practice. I learn something new every time I take a class! And the community rocks. Everyone is nice and friendly and fun to be around. Beginners and seasoned practitioners are welcome and present at every class. And the group energy is the best part-- easy-going yet FOCUSED, with many disciplined Yogis who show up day in and day out and ready to WORK.Rachel, the owner, is a bad@ss who runs a tight ship while keeping things fun and fostering a great community. She regularly shows appreciation for the students and teachers, and offers various workshops, friendly competitions, etc. that keep things fun and varied throughout the year.If you've been looking for a world-class yoga studio with a top notch staff and welcoming community, look no further--you've come to the right place!

I came in for my first hot yoga class a few days ago and it was amazing. This place is very clean and the staff is very friendly. Plenty of space for a lot of people. My instructor Mariah was very descriptive at explaining each yoga pose so i could visualize the move without having to look around. Even though there were a few poses i was struggling with Mariah would notice and help explain how I should continue the move for my experience level. I love this place and would highly recommend Mariah as your next Hot Yoga Instructor!

I have recently started hot yoga. I have been greeted pleasantly every time I have came in for class. It is clean and well kept. I recently encountered a membership issue. Which was dealt with timely and professionally. Rachel is very kind. Eager to help with any questions and so very welcoming. I highly recommend this place if you are looking into hot yoga.

Whether you’re trying yoga for the first time, starting to practice again, or wanting to try out a new place to practice, I highly recommend giving HYV a try you might be pleasantly surprised with your choice. I give HYV a multiple star ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️review! When I enter the lobby I am always greeted with a smile and this makes me feel welcomed and respected. This doesn’t change in class or when I leave. The staff is knowledgeable and supportive. The physical environment is always clean. The vibe is loving, healthy and enriching. In class, there is a unique sense of compassion felt from each teacher and I enjoy the varied styles of teaching each teacher brings to the students. This is a place of acceptance and growth.
