FHY has the best teachers and community of yogis and Pilates students, my yoga practice has flourished here in the welcoming environment with teachers who care about you, and are invested in your health and achievements. I’m crazy for their IHP classes as well. The combination has improved my Bikram practice to a new level. It’s so wonderful, you should try it!

Dropped in for Bikram - OHY last week and Jolinda/the studio/the crowd was fantastic! I've visited many Bikram studios over the years and have always had a love/hate relationship with the Bikram ethos of the drill sergeant (ahem, instructor) barking the same orders and chastising people for sipping water out of turn or fidgeting. I get it, that's the Bikram shtick, but it has always felt a little unnecessary to me. BUT that's not what happened at Firehouse! Jolinda kept the form and function of the 26 poses while infusing heart and humor to her teaching style. She encouraged people by name (remembered so many names!), offered plentiful verbal alignment cues beyond the memorized script, and masterfully addressed the beginners in the room.Even in a hot yoga studio, it was a breath of fresh air! (sorry, couldn't resist)

Never had this kind of experience at a yoga studio in my 15 years of practice. Never left a bad review on a studio.I love bikram yoga and sadly this is the only studio in the area that offers the sequence. I really wanted/needed to like it.3 of the instructors i encountered were catty with each other or catty to students. One instructor pooja is the one I’m referring to that was passive aggressive towards me during practice. And was outright combative to me checking in at reception my second visit.I sat in traffic for 45 minutes to get there and ended up walking out of the door and didn’t take the class I bought, paid for mat and towel. It’s not worth my time energy and it’s definitely not worth my money.some of the other studios like yoga of Ventura, yoga jones, even bodhi salt are better places to invest in where I experienced the teachers actually appreciating their students.I visited 4x. Wasn’t impressed with the levels of experience in the studio eitherI realized not getting a workout would be better than forcing myself through 90 min of this women’s energy.Maybe there’s a management issue because people working there seem unhappy.

I never thought I would be addicted to heated Pilates, but here I am, willing and able to admit it! IHP classes and teachers are killer, in a good way!

I’ve been practicing Original Hot Yoga 26:2 with Shannon since 2016. It does not matter what body (tin-man or flexible) I bring into the four walls… I always know that Im going to sweat my soul out and leave any emotion or tension on my mat in the room. Fire House Hot Yoga is 🔥 offering a variety of yoga classes. The space that Shannon and Yoga Teachers have created, embody the health and fitness the city of Ventura and Ventura County need. Thank You Shannon and every Teacher for always believing in our yoga practice and the perseverance for strength and overall wellness 🙌 Check this place out if you are looking for a sweat or savasana…your body and mat will thank you ✌️❤️ 🧘‍♀️ NAMASTE 🙏
