I came to participate in a Fuego Friday event. I did not know what to expect... It was an AWESOME dance club vibe. There was a DJ and food. It was the most fun exercise class I have experienced. Everyone seemed to be having a blast. I am seriously thinking about joining. The members are super nice and welcoming.

If i could go lower than a one star to post a review, I would. So, I've been trying to get in touch with CMA Fitness for over a year now...figured it was owned by a woman who knew what she was doing (Chanda Akles), had a good review, had a women's only area and one on one approach...and after breaking my leg and ankle, would be great to use to start my fitness journey. Well, I either don't fit what they're looking for or something (not sure if it's my age or disability) because I've never gotten a response from phone messages, emails (sent from both my work email and personal email) or even Facebook messenger. I get the typical bounce back, "thanks for contacting, someone will be with you soon..." but never receive anything. Yet, they're always talking about how great they are and how great they treat people. Well, apparently not...

The owner and staff here are one of a kind!!! I love that there is a separate part for women and then gym has a very old school family feel to it. The instructors are great! Juanita’s morning Bootcamp is amazing, she is very attentive to each persons needs and goals and makes sure you are working safely. Chanda’s fusion class is definitely a party, it’s so hype I forgot I was working out and the energy of all the women in the class is amazing!!

I've had a good and bad experience with this gym from start to pending end. The only exception to this gym, among others in the area, is that there is an optional department for women only. Most gyms don't have that option. Yet the quality for price doesn't meet the standards of other gyms, but it at least have what you need to become fit. The owner is very nice and always smiling. Yet my reason for such a poor rating is not the facility or the workers because mostly everyone are to themselves. Yet my poor experience is #1 from the moment I walked in to start a membership. I want just the most basic plan, which at the time was $20. The receptionist mentioned a promotion that was being held that month. The promotion was the plan that included classes and access to gym that usually is $30 but was going for $20 for that period. I said why not since it's the same as the basic plan. So, she signed me up. As months were going by, I was continually charged $30 instead of the $20 that was mentioned. So I called about it and was told they needed to speak to the owner and would call me back. Never git a call back. I called back the next day during operable times they're usually at the desk, but no one answered. I gave it some time and called back, still no answer. So I said maybe let me look at my contract that went into my email when set up. So I looked at it, and it showed $30 instead of the promotion rate $20. I felt bamboozled. So I said maybe they just really need the money and just decided to let it go. Each month I looked forward to the end of membership. I still liked the gym nevertheless. At renewal, I mentioned that to the receptionist at that I want the basic rate of $20. She said the rates changed but honored the $20. However #2 reason, recently we had to transfer to a different state for work in January. Unfortunately, it slipped my mind to stop by to cancel membership before leaving as it was a hectic few weeks of moving. I was reminded on the morning of monthly pay when the bank denied payment due to no funds in account at the time. I sent an email including my out of state lease, and they called immediately within an hour to say I needed to pay the bill for the new month first, and then they would submit my cancelation. I wish that urgency was used when I inquired about the matter of being charged $30 instead of $20 as promoted. I understand business is business, and they have no inkling of concern for a long term member who gave no problems. As the saying goes, "The money is not the problem but the principal of the matter." Just keep that in mind. Be aware of their presenting promotions and if you join, you may have similar issue with valid cancelation.I wish the comment to this was true, but it wasn't. No return call was made, and the promotion that was promoted in person was not actually honored. Thanks again! New month has been paid.

I’ve been to a lot of gyms and this by far is my favorite gym. The gym does have two parts to it, a women’s only side and The Dungeon (aka the EVERYBODY WHO WANTS TO TRAIN side). I like the idea that the ladies have their own side to feel comfortable. I admit, we do clang IRON around in the Dungeon (and you’re not shunned for moving heavy weight.).A real OG Gym vibe with iron weights and powerlifting platforms. A place where chalk is used and flows in the air and you rip your callouses on the bar as tribute to the Iron Gods. There are plenty of gyms out there but this one is my Home.

The owner, Chandra invited me to attend the gym for 5 free visits. I'm now addicted. The classes are fun and you will leave sweating. I feel so comfortable working out there. Thanks Chandra, you got me lol 😆 …

I would give it 0 stars if I could. I called and asked about cancelling my membership since my year contract was coming to an end. The lady that answered the phone told me I could do it over the phone and I didn’t need to come in. So, of course I did that. The gym didn’t charge me for April, but I was charged in May. I went up to the gym and they informed me that I had to write a letter. What?? Why was I told that I could do it over the phone if I had to come in? I would have come in and did it if I would have known. I also never got my contract because my email was wrong on my contract. So obviously I couldn’t read what the cancellation policy was. I trusted the girl that answered the phone to tell me what I needed to do. Ugh, so annoying. It doesn’t even bother me that they took $20 from my account. It bothers me because their own employee told me I could do it over the phone and that she put it in the system so it wouldn’t take any more money out of my account after my 1 year contract was up. I only wanted to cancel because I haven’t been going and was going to sign back up later in the year. Yeah, not anymore. I will take my business somewhere else!
