I cannot stress how great Core is. I am a gym person, but sometimes it would be overstimulating for me. This is not the case. This gym is almost like a family. I walk in, they know me by name, ask about my life, which I honestly never had before. They even notice when I don’t show up, just making sure I’m ok when k walk into a class after a few weeks. I started with personal training with Chris, but due to the positive environment, I have branched out to other classes and love them too. Also, the nutrition program honestly saved me. I didn’t need to lose weight, but love food again and not fear it. And Hank and the Core team were cheering me on and making sure I lived and ate while caring for my body. I have done plans at other gyms where I heard people being judged for having a fun weekend, which some drinks and pizza. Not here. I will never thank them all enough. If you are looking for a gym that will treat you like a human, and not a number, go here. They are always accommodating, understanding and want you to reach you health goals, cheering and supporting you all the way.

My experience at Core so far has been extremely impressive.First off the space is kept in absolutely impeccable condition. From the locker rooms and showers to the studio space and machines, the quality of cleanliness is the best I have ever witnessed.I decided to come to Core to try a Lagree Class since I have heard so many great things about it. Although I never had taken Lagree before, nor had any idea how to operate the megaformer, my nerves were put to rest once the class began. The instructor Leticia thoroughly supported and guided me to ensure I was doing the workouts properly and with the correct form. Even though it was my first class, I left the class with a sense of belonging, accomplishment and sweat soaked clothes. In spite of being in a new setting, I left that day with a feeling of comfort.I was able to take advantage of their new client promotional deal which allowed me to take an unlimited amount of classes over a two week period at a fraction of the cost. While my first experience set a pretty high bar, the instructors, classes, amenities and pure cleanliness at core elevated the bar even further. All the instructors are exceptionally knowledgeable, encouraging and kind. While I took many of these classes for a first time, the trainers treat everyone as their own individual by acknowledging there are all different types of fitness levels but motivate you to become comfortable feeling uncomfortable. The classes I took are some of the best workouts I have ever done. From Spin class with Arthur & Boxing with Christina, to Treads with Suzanne & Legree with Leticia- each class offers the state of the art equipment and passionate instructors. Also, Tiffany did a great job at answering any questions I had, as well as always being very accommodating to any requests that came up.Core offers a plethora of classes and workouts that are both challenging and satisfying. If you are looking for a studio that prides itself on cleanliness, small group instruction, dope showers and results than I could not recommend this place anymore. Although my time here has been brief, Core has been a WELCOMING & SUPPORTING environment that is built by a community that helps elevate one another in their fitness journey, no matter what your experience level is.

I really enjoy this gym! The team of instructors are helpful, courteous, and have great energy. My first couple of weeks I tried Lagree, and I loved it! Each workout room is well equipped and clean. They have different classes, and you can also sign up for personal 1-1 training. They also offer lockers, showers, and changing rooms and clean towels. I will continue to be a repeat happy customer!

I’m not much a review-leaver but I’ve loved Core so far so if you’re considering a studio in Providence maybe this will help you! I’m on the 2-week intro pass so I’ve been taking a variety of classes to see what might interest me when I sign up.I think the pricing is fair especially with inflation and what they offer. If you don’t like it, there are plenty of free YouTube videos online for you to pick from. I saw a bad review complaining they’re not on ClassPass…those apps don’t compensate businesses very much and their only value is drawing in new customers. Some of us want to support the businesses we enjoy! This is a boutique studio and they cater to their customers in such a nice way with cool towels after workouts and the community Keurig - nice touches! The classes are challenging and a good variety if you want to join somewhere with strength, cardio, cycle, and something unique like Lagree. I initially signed up to try the Lagree but I’ve enjoyed it all and cross training is great :) It’s been a week and a half and I’m 7 classes in and already feel stronger and more conditioned - it’s wild! Overall nice, clean, fun space with a variety of ages and genders for clientele.

My experience with CORE so far has exceeded my expectations. Working with a trainer is engaging and educating and I’d recommend it to anyone. Jon is patient and works you really hard, but is never judgmental, instead really helps you to feel like you’ve accomplished what you’re after! Every employee that I’ve come across is courteous and takes the time to say hello and offer help if you need it! Thank you CORE Fitness!

CORE's new studio is amazing, truly state of the art. It is hands down the best fitness studio around, with spacious, clean workout areas, terrific bikes, and the only gym to offer Lagree classes in RI. Moreover, the CORE instructors are great. You'll get a really challenging workout, whether you take a spin class, a strength training class, or try a Lagree class. Highly recommend!

Wanted to love Core Fit but they are sadly overpriced and cater to an older crowd. Beware of the fine print in their intro packages as they limit the types of classes and number of classes you can take. This studio could be great if they catered to a younger crowd and took advantage of trends like Classpass which allow members to take a variety of classes.
