This martial arts school has been amazing for my son. He's only just turned seven, but in the last year that he's been attending the youth classes, he's been encouraged to really push himself, to focus, to become an all-around good person, and to meet challenges with energy and perseverance. Plus, it's a great amount of exercise for a young kid. I can very highly recommend NSA!**ETA, both my children have attended NSA now through their curriculum to the level of probationary black belt (daughter) and first degree black belt (son). They've also started taking Combat Archery classes in addition to youth martial arts. They love NSA, and have benefitted from the exemplary instruction, guidance, support, and friendships.

I should have listened to the previous reviews about their payment setup system trapping customers. They have a third party payment system so they aren’t directly liable should any issues occur. I was able to get one of the owners to agree to a month to month payment plan verbally over the phone (my first mistake) over good faith that I will only be attending for less than a year before I moved. Not a week in one of their instructors (or volunteer teachers) injured my ankle while rolling. I asked to stop paying because I needed to nurse my injury but I was told that couldn’t happen because I was in a contract. (I signed previously but was told they would speak to the third party to make it month to month which was a blatant lie). I complained and was told they would give me three free month so I can nurse my injury (another lie). I rolled for a few weeks and decided I needed to stop since my injury wasn’t getting better. When I eventually checked back my credit card history it showed they were syphoning off money for the months that were suppose to be free. Ultimately I got the payments to stop but this was scam like. Don’t get me wrong their instructors are great teachers and very nice and facilities are good so I’m not bashing everything about them but they took my money unfairly (I was being stupid trusting their word). Beware any contracts you sign with them! You’ve been warned

Tried out the kick boxing class really loved it, instructors were willing to work with me at my pace. Great atmosphere and fun learning environment. They also were really good about the Covid precautions, mask mandates and sanitized equipment. Really felt like they where on top of things here.

Love this place, the staff is great with the kids and very engaging with the parents. Kids need to work to earn the next level, not just automatically promoted.

This place is amazing. I have two daughters doing martial arts for over a year now and they love it. Not only have they learned how to defend themselves, they learned life lessons too.

This place is fantastic! Everyone here is really friendly, the facilities are nice and clean, well-kept. I trained here for a while, and now my two little girls go there, and they love it. You should definitely give it a try.

The martial arts and teachers are great. But financially, they're screwing me over. I'm in the military and had a daughter in their children's jui jitsu. Well naturally the military life is ever changing so it was time for us to leave. I informed the OWNER that we would be leaving the state in November. I would think they wouldn't charge us after that right? Well I was wrong. I got charged for the months of December, January, and February. A total of $366. I called in December when this happened and they said they would get it taken care of, well obviously it did NOT happen. I was in the middle of moving in January and had not noticed it but once we got completely settled in we caught it. I called to complain about it and they're pretty much telling me I'm screwed. If you do decide to join them, do NOT let them keep your card information on file. It was described to me that the store owner has no idea what goes on in the financial side of things and I'm being told that I'm going to have to just get over the $366 that they took from me. AWESOME!

This is without a doubt, one of the best martial arts schools. period. They are small however, they can make sure that each and every student perform at their peak. They incorporate a youth leadership program called the STORM Team. The storm team is a youth team that helps teach classes. The STORM Team students still must attend regular classes. They have various adult programs featuring many different arts with highly skilled black belt(s) teaching all of those classes. Overall, I give a 5/5, 10/10

My 8 year old son has been at NSA for the last six months and I would highly recommend it. I have watched my child go from quietly participating in the back row to volunteering to lead his class last week in drills. The instructors do an amazing job of bringing out the best in kids, and teach them self-respect, as well as respect for others.
