We can’t give AR enough praise. We have seen a significant improvement in our son’s athletic ability, skill-set, strength, and endurance. We love Nick- he’s incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and an all around excellent trainer.

Disclaimer....this is a long review but I promise it is worth it!My daughter tore her ACL while playing soccer, and had surgery August 2022. In February 2023 she was cleared for return to play training. Athletic Republic West Jordan was just about to open so we scheduled a free assessment to get an idea of what we needed to work on to get my daughter back on the field. She had been crushing PT and we were sure she would not have much to do to get her there. Boy were we wrong. One of the things that the assessment measures is the leg strength of each leg. My daughter had been weight training and re-building strength in PT so we did not have this as one of our big concerns. That quickly changed as we were told that the difference in her leg strength was a deficit of 17%. That is HUGE! We were told that if you multiply that number by 3 that is what your risk for reinjury would be if she were to return to play now. So we were looking at a 51% chance of reinjury. At this point we started to panic. But Nick was amazing, and he not only answered all of our questions, he suggested a training plan that he was confident in to get my daughter where she needed to be.So we signed up for the ACL bridge program. There are 3 phases to the program and each has 8 sessions. They are twice a week and are all 1 on 1 sessions to provide the attention and care needed to ensure proper form etc. This program is HARD!! Nick, Kali and Emma pushed my daughter to limits she didn't know she had. They were amazing at pushing her hard as well as giving her the encouragement to keep going. At the start of the ACL Bridge Phase 2 Nick re-tested her length strength to get an idea of where she was at and what adjustments might need to be made for the next phase. We knew she had been working hard but were still nervous to see where her deficit was at now. To our surprise her deficit had gone down from 17% to 4%!! This was HUGE!! Anything below 5% puts you in a great spot to return to play. We added 2x a week weight training at this point as well to continue to build strength now in both legs. While the ACL Bridge program provided the treadmill work, plyometrics, pivoting and game play readiness etc.We are coming to the end of the ACL Bridge 3 program and we couldn't be happier with the program and the staff. Had we not known about the strength testing we would have focused on the wrong things to get her ready to get back on the field. Which would have increased her risk for reinjury. The ACL process is a long one and there are no short cuts. Even with her deficit being at less than 5% and her fitness being amazing, her Ortho will not clear her for play until she is at the 12 month mark. The risk for reinjury is ridiculous especially in girls. But if you want your player to return to their sport better than they left it and feel confident that you did all things necessary, I recommend contacting Nick and setting up an assessment. We could not be happier with the results and highly recommend them!

This place is what I’ve been looking for my kids to get them athletically to the next level. AR uses data and science to push my son to his best. You don’t get this training. Unless you are at a D1 college or in the Pros. Coach Nick has been one of my favorites as far as knowledge and how to use technology to get my son to his best. They not only train you well. They have sessions to do while in season. They have sessions to have athletes recover! I’ve enjoyed having my son train there the last couple months!

My son has been coming to AR for about 3 months now. We came to get a higher vertical and more speed. Overall he is hitting the goals we are settling out to hit. I see him having more confidence in himself and on court. Thank you AR for your training. Looking forward to hitting more goals.
