24 Hour Fitness

Quite literally one of the dirtiest 24 hours I’ve been to. Sauna is constantly gross. Machines always broken, sometimes for a week or more. Some treadmills been down for weeks. Sanitizing stations always missing paper towels or broke spray bottles. Staff seems mostly uninterested, especially the kids that just stand upfront.

Jam packed! Seems like they may have oversold memberships or something. At least 5 to 8 treadmills are broken and haven't been fixed in months. Sauna is often packed as well. Cleaning could be much better too

Pretty frustrated with “24 hour fitness” the hours have become so restrictive. I’ll be canceling my membership. This location still shows as 24 hours. It’s not just went and they were closed with a paper on the door noting the hour changed. Why don’t they stay open it doesn’t cost that much more and they charge a premium over other gym memberships? Plus the lights were still on and employees working out so they aren’t saving that much. Pay someone $15 an hour to sit at the front desk.

Update:24 hours fitness has contacted me, apologized what they did. They also refunded me back the money. Thank you for listening to your customer's feedback.I got a really bad experience with 24 hour fitness at a location fountain valley California 92843. The manager here treats their customers very badly with no respect at all. I came to this fitness on April 7 to 9 to cancel my membership. But they actually forgot to cancel for me. I got charge 2 months and the annual membership fee. When I came in to talk to them about it, they don’t even say sorry for me and talk to me like it’s all my fault. I asked if there is a number that I can call in to ask because it’s not my fault. The manager guy said no number for me to call, just email. They refused to solve the problem with customer. Even no sorry word. I guess 24 hours fitness is a big company right, you start to not value your customers any more. If you don’t return my money, I will never never come back to this fitness. Stealing people’s money. Very unprofessional business.

Clean water fountain has been broken for months while the one that is never cleaned works properly. Certain equipment has been broken for several months. Staff are generally really nice. I changed my card 2 months ago and didn’t remember to update it here and I was somehow able to get in without knowing that I had a balance of 89 dollars that I owed to them before they stopped me. Kinda frustrating but understandable I just wish I would of been told sooner that I owed payment upon checking in.

This location is a bit small, but it is the only one in southeast Huntington Beach. It is usually very clean and the machines are fixed quickly. They have one group exercise room, a cycling room and a free weight training area. They also have a pool and hot tub. The only negative is they do not have much staff later at night, and no one is ever at the check in area when I go at around 8:30pm. There is no security later at night. Anyone can walk in.

Extremely packed, and full of selfish gym-goers who hold equipment for way too long. There is no reason a single person should hold a bench or machine for more than 10 minutes. I have seen people leave their stuff to "reserve" a bench and hold it for more than 30 minutes.I realize this is not entirely the gym's fault, but it is clear that way many memberships have been sold, and the staff does nothing to regulate the insane amount of people in the gym on weeknights. At the very least, put up signs to encourage people to minimize their time on machines, or include some sort of rules. If you are there between 4pm-7pm on a weeknight, forget about using a bench, incline bench, or squat rack. I guess you get what you pay for, but it would be nice if the staff at least attempted to make the situation better instead of just sitting at the front desk.

Absolutely horrible! Everything is broken and dirty beyond belief, personal private fitness instruction going on and even massages done in the fitness room, where I witnessed money being exchanged, YET you have FOUR employees standing at the front desk messing around and doing absolutely nothing! See the pictures I have posted. Do they pay their employees to stand around doing nothing because that's exactly what I witnessed during my whole hour plus workout. They have money to waste on employees standing around yet have no money to fix all the broken things! I have more photos if management would like to see the unprofessionalism and chaos that happens when they aren't present 🤷🏼‍♀️

I commend the managers of this location for eliminating video broadcast of any political content, whether left, right, or center!

It's 5:45am and still club is not open. Unreliable employees. No accountability!! 6:53an and still no one showed up.... Geez!
