Beware before you signed up with this gym they don't tell you about exactly what happens when you want to cancel sometimes it doesn't go through and your money still gets taken out of your account when you go there and you talk to the general manager and they don't do a damn thing they give you the run-around instead which is B.S that got me very upset where I wanted to cancel my membership as well since 21 I've been getting my money drawing out of my account every month and annual bad customer service for management... regret singing up

Decent gym. But the showers are kinda gross. Definitely want to always keep your sandals on.But they only have towels for sell. $3.50 eachEvery gym should have free complimentary towels.I don't want to go home from the gym every time with a wet towel I had to bring with me.Probably won't return to this location

Very disappointed. I had 2 members sign up under me as a referral. Second member was not asked who referred him and he forgot tto state. Called the manager the next day. Was told it was not a problem Email him. Fast forward. New management. I was only given 6 months free. Was told cannot resolve problemSecond member had to state referral at sign up or no go. What? No motivation to fix problem I don't matter just another nember.

Had an appointment to signed up for a membership and the person who was supposed to follow up with me never called me. When I showed up they said no one could help me in person and to just sign up on my own online. I really liked the facility but the staff lacks customer service skills and aren’t friendly. What a shame!

Siomara is the sweetest worker at this location! She always says hi to me and makes my day!!!! She works so hard day in and day out!! She has definitely made my experience at Golds more enjoyable. She deserves a raise!

The gym has a lot of options and choices. Most the equipment is new and high-tech. They also offer a lot of classes. Only downfall is they're extremely busy and parking is sometimes hard to find. Staff is generally friendly and helpful. Showers restrooms locker room is very clean.

Great lighting... Has more space, cleaner and customer reps are always happy. Weights are usually organized and machines are newer and work properly. I drive a mile or so further when I can to go here.

General Manager THREATENS members to cancel membership for unlawful reason. He is one-sided when it comes to members' complaints. He refuses to listen to members. He is just old and stubborn man. Talks to members in very condescending tone to especially to those who he thinks is younger than him. Very unprofessional person.

Horrible experience. Signed up for a one day free pass. (FREE* as advertised on the site) I went in staff was just chatting amongst each other, no awareness for guests.. I wasn’t greeted, girl at the front was super rude, they wanted me to talk to a “fitness consultant” about joining when I was just there for a day workout. Consultant then tried to charge me 20$ for the day to workout, which is laughable. Makes me never want to go to a Golds ever again

My husband and I take the senior sneakers class. Our seniors class is very important to us. We need to keep moving and La mirada gym is convenient. When the elevator was inoperable it took months to repair making it impossible for some to go up stairs. We are not notified or is there any indication that a class has been cancelled. Nobody from the desk tells us about a cancellation. Not even the online schedule shows as cancelled. Most schedules are not updated. Now our silver sneakers class is cancelled all this week. We found out about this when we went to our class on Monday and we had to go downstairs to find out the classes were cancelled. No posts on the door or online. Very disappointing
