3rd street BJJ is a great place to train if your brand new to the sport, or have years of experience and are looking to polish your skills.New people are given plenty of personal attention, so you don’t just feel like a face in the crowd, and the flexible schedule allows for convenient training times throughout the week.Gardner’s depth of jiu jitsu knowledge has plenty to offer more experienced players that are looking to develop their game, and participation in local and regional tournaments is encouraged.Highly recommended !

Quality instructors and a super welcoming group of people at this gym! The coaches are really supportive and clearly want to see you be successful. Started going for self defense and now I’m hooked and even competing 😎 …

I've been coming here for close to three years now. What I like the most about 3rd street is it has the perfect number of clientele; enough to feed off the synergy of the group to give you that extra motivation but not too many, where you're lost in the herd and unable to receive direct individual guidance. Also the wide variety offered through this gym, it really has something for everyone. You can get some hard rolls in, learn self defense, focus on fitness & getting in shape, go easier & focus on technique or come in for the sure amusement from the humor of the professor. 3rd Street is a definitely a staple in the Wilmington BJJ community.
