Best workout I’ve had in a long time. Welcoming team members and all the equipment you could want or need.

Not a good place to go to if you don’t want to work around the classes. The classes take place in the middle of the gym, leaving you to use the equipment that they aren’t using. It’s extremely loud with the class music.

Great gym- it's not large but they have enough equipment and it's very clean! Also 24 hours is a big bonus.

Nancy at the front desk was super helpful and friendly in getting me setup. The space is big and open allowing for functional training. It has all of the equipment and weights I would normally look for and need to complete a workout. I was visiting from out of town, but if I was local this would definitely be my full time gym.

Best gym and staff in town!!Follow up to my first review from months ago. I have continued to try to get in to the gym as much as possible. A few weeks ago, I was trying to get my routine going again after taking about a month or so off and I was having some pretty serious pain in my shoulder. Mike, the owner, came over to check on me and say hey. I told him what was going on and he took some time to help me come up with exercises to correct the issue long term and showed me how to get some immediate relief. I honestly can't say enough about how much I appreciate that and his continued support! This place is really and truly the best gym in town!

Love this place and the staff. My wife and I endured home workouts (Covid) after moving to Wilmington once retiring from the military in the summer of 2020. We looked at other places, including the Y on Market (which was awesome), but they simply were not within walking or biking distance. Axis was the sweet spot -- great/fair price point, nice selection of machines, cardio, free weights, etc., 24X7, a 10 minute bike ride away, and the staff is incredibly helpful. Mike (the owner) is stellar, as well as Tyler, Brad, Big Nance, and the whole team. Clean and convenient, we're very happy with our selection. Oh, and if you're into group or individually coached workouts, the trainers are motivated, knowledgeable, and have a great demeanor. You won't be disappointed. Now go get your sweat on!

I take the small group fitness classes and always have a great work out no matter which instructor we have. I’ve been working out at gyms over 30 years and this has been the best experience. I feel strong and fit! I started taking their FM3 class (foam rolling & mobility) and it compliments my work outs so well by stretching and helping my muscles recover. Don’t hesitate to sign on!

Trainers take the time to listen first, and modify programs around injuries and weaknesses....not just a plug and play workout!
