Attended last competition "Fittest of Wilmington". Owners exhibited a challenging event. Amazing watching competitors and spectators cheering on "all" the lifters, being such a friendly and fun environment! Looking forward going to deadllift competition in October!

My girlfriend and I trained here for a few days while on vacation and had an incredible time! We’re both competitive powerlifters looking for the right gym and Unleashed provided not just top quality equipment, but also a great atmosphere to train in as well.

I cannot express how much I love this gym and the trainers/owners, Dylan and Kate. I joined May 2021for two half hour sessions a week, just to have some accountability.I quickly learned the difference between Dylan’s training style and all the others I’d been to in the past. He encourages and pushes but does so with common sense. He didn’t expect me, someone 100 lbs overweight, to do burpees and other silly exercises. He focused on building my strength with weightlifting and a little cardio.I’ve since started powerlifting. I’ve been in two competitions and have three more this year. I absolutely love working out. I’ve never said this before in my life. At 48 years old, my max deadlift is 242.5 lbs! My max benchpress is 88 lbs! I would never have known this potential if it hadn’t been for Dylan. Both he and his wife, Kate, are trainers here. They take into account injuries and any limitations and slowly build on those. They push but in a way that doesn’t make you feel frustrated. They know what you’re capable of before you do.If you’re looking for a trainer to help realize your potential, to gain some accountability, and to improve your health and strength, look no further.I will forever be TeamUnleashed!!

Training with Kate has been great. She is so encouraging and helped me feel much more comfortable working out again after I had my baby. Would definitely recommend training with her!

Nicest powerlifting gym I have been to. I made the trip from Ohio to compete in the first Doughnuts & deadlifts competition, and I love how well ran and organized their event was. The quality of this facility is top notch, not to mention the owners who are very knowledgeable. If you are looking for a gym this is the place to be.

Dylan was exceptionally friendly and helpful, I was in town for vacation and he made the day passes easy and accessible, even helping to figure out how to make sure I was able to get in substitutions for machines to keep to my normal training schedule. Highly recommend this gym.

Dylan is an awesome trainer and coach. He will take the time to really understand what you’re trying to achieve and build out a plan specific to you. The gym is also Incredibly clean and friendly. Highly recommended.

If you're a lifter visiting Wilmington and looking for a place to train, you've found it!Unleashed has very high quality equipment (kilo plates!) is super clean, and the owners are very welcoming. The drop-in fees are reasonable, and you can train whenever you want which is another big plus.Give it a shot!

I was able to visit Unleashed Fitness this last weekend. It was probably the nicest powerlifting gym I’ve ever been in. The gym was clean and organized and I would definitely go back. The owners were both so friendly too! They had a ton of versatile equipment.

My experience at this gym was not too pleasant. I would like to start by saying why call a ‘day pass’ a day pass if you pay $20 and are only allowed to stay 2 hours at a time at the gym? For advertising that everyone is welcome, 2 hours is not enough time to finish a workout for a powerlifter. On that note, powerlifters usually take off their shirts to do workouts on bench because benches are slippery. Why would there be a rule(s) stating ‘no chalk/no shirts off’ if the gym claims to be ‘powerlifting friendly’. I understand having personal training going on, but many gyms can do that and be flexible for their guests who do different exercises, and I don’t see why a shirt is affecting anyone elses training, unless its their ego. Anyways we still cleaned up after ourselves which is why it shouldn’t have been an issue. After going to many powerlifting gyms in my life, I haven’t ever been displeased as much as this one. If this gym were really ‘powerlifting friendly’, the kilos would have more wear and tear on them.
