Family Kicks Championship Martial Arts

My daughter (8) has been taking class with Mr. Holly for over a year now. She absolutely loves it. Mr. Holly is very knowledgeable and is great with the kids in class. Adults take the classes too and seem to enjoy it as well. My daughter looks forward to every class, and it has improved her respectfulness and self confidence so much. It truly is a family run business; very kind and caring.

The women’s self-defense class was wonderful!!

I thoroughly enjoyed the women’s self-defense workshop. I learned and practiced techniques that I hope to not ever have to use. Because of Mr. Holly’s law enforcement background, I felt like I was being trained by the best. I’d highly recommend to attend any class or workshop offered at Family Kicks Taekwondo. It was well worth my time.

Just finished the FREE Women's Self Defense Course at Family Kicks Taekwon Do. I learned so much, about the mental, emotional and physical parts of keeping yourself safe. Great family atmosphere, everyone was really awesome to work with! Thanks again Mr. Holly! Highly recommend it!!

The women's self defense class was awesome! They taught us some really effective techniques. The staff was super friendly and experienced. Don't hesitate to take this class, I highly recommend it!

Mr. Holly is not only a great guy who invests himself fully in his students but his training is of a great lineage having learned from Master Boisvert and Grandmaster Hwang who was taught directly by the founder of Tae Kwon Do. A great choice for your family.

My boys (ages 7 and 9) attended a free anti-bullying workshop. The content was very informative and helpful for them, and the instructor was very personable. We’re looking forward to trying other classes!

I loved the experience of the self-defense class. Having discussion of important ideas to consider combined with plenty of time to practice was perfect. Instantly, I was at ease with Steve and his family. They were friendly, welcoming, and so easy to work with. Highly recommend this venture!

We attended a free Anti-Bullying class that Family Kicks offered. I was quite impressed by Mr. Holly and the materials he covered. We were not sure what to expect going into the class, but found it to be informative and right in line with what we have taught our children As a former school resource officer, he new exactly what the school system would allow but also taught our children how to protect themselves against bullies without getting in trouble. He also stressed to the children how important it was to keep the lines of communication open with parents, while reminding them that teachers, counselors and other school officials are great resources. I think this was an amazing class and such a valuable asset to the community. And again it was FREE!!!

My daughter and I attended a free, YES, FREE - Women's Self Defense class here and we were really impressed with the instructor's knowledge and fun personality! We really enjoyed the family all pitching in to help, the Winston-Salem police officer that also helped, and the knowledge we gained. I highly recommend the instructor and the class! I would love to take additional classes here!
