The Shrewsbury Club

I took several beginner pickleball clinics this past Spring, from Tom Dineen.He is an amazing instructor. He is knowledgeable, patient, skilled and made the clinics fun. He also had extra paddles to borrow if needed as I wanted to try it before purchasing a paddle. He was skilled at blending a group of players that may be at different levels, in a way to make it interesting and challenging. My group became very close and enjoyed playing together. As we progressed from beginners,Tom adjusted our class based on where we were. If new players joined he grouped players in a way that worked for everyone.I now play on my own with friends and people I have met through pickleball. I feel my ground and understanding of the rules and strategies are ahead of most, due to my excellent instruction from Tom. Highly recommend his clinics!

My child is very happy with Nathan's coaching style. Having tried multiple instructors before, we are seeing demonstrable improvement in his playing abilities. He uses phrases like "lot of fun" and "time flew by" to describe the class. I strongly recommend Shrewsbury Tennis Club for your child if you are looking for something they would enjoy!

I have attended the adult classes with Tom and Mike as the instructors and I definitely made improvements to my game. Both instructors are patient and incredibly knowledgeable about the game and have great senses of humor. I would recommend anyone either a complete beginner or an experience player to give this club a try.

My 10 year old and her friend started private lessons with Tom about an year ago. They’ve really taken a liking to his style of coaching and they look forward to their lessons every week. Tom helps keep it fun and he sticks to the basics. We get to hang out and watch them play as well.

We went from no experience at all, to loving the game of tennis. We started with Tom group classes. They are excellent to learn the fundaments of the game, and super entertaining. We wanted to focus on our game, and decided to do the private clases with Nate. Nate’s passion for the game is contagious, very knowledgeable and a great teacher. We are seeing significant improvement in our game, with just a few classes. Both, the group and private classes are strongly recommended.

Nathan is a true professional. Patient, talented, and excellent with all ages. His tennis instruction is second to none. He is committed to his clients, and not afraid to recommend changes to the instructional program if it fits the player. I highly recommend Nathan to anyone looking to improve their tennis play.

Rented off the basketball court with my friends. The court was in great shape, the renting process was easy and transparent, Nathan specifically was a huge help. Whole process was great. The staff who worked the front desk were also extremely helpful. Definitely would recommend renting from here if you ever need a private indoor basketball court in the area.

I run a nearby a club tennis team at College of the Holy Cross, and we were looking for indoor courts for the winter, and reached out to the Shrewsbury Tennis Club. I spoke with Nathan who made it super easy to set up practices at the courts at an affordable price. The courts were perfect for us, and all the team members had a great time playing here, would highly recommend!

This place is seriously the best. I don’t know where I would be without the Shrewsbury club, probably in another state . If you need tennis lessons, or you need to work out this is the place to go. They also have racquetball, a pool , an indoor baseball field , you name it . Excellent instructors, really friendly staff and they fit me in whenever I need to. If you need a great lesson ask for Nathan. He’s the man

Reviewing specifically for the baseball program at the Shrewsbury Club. My son has had an excellent experience so far. It is age appropriate while still being challenging for a kid who absolutely loves baseball!
