The Shrewsbury Club

My daughter has been taking tennis lessons from Nathan for a few months now. He has really helped her with her game and she enjoys taking lessons from him. He has a way of making the lessons fun while teaching her the skills she needs. Nathan is very good at what he does and connecting with his students. The club is also much nicer than the last time we had visited which was years ago, it has definitely been upgraded. Highly recommend Nathan and Shrewsbury Club!!!

Love hitting at the Shrewsbury Club! I moved here to Massachusetts not knowing anyone to hit with, and especially during the Winter that made it difficult to find ways to play. Thanks to the club, I was able to hit once or twice a week with a great group of players throughout the Winter.Nathan runs a great tennis program and is not only a dedicated coach but also a strong player. A true class act and a ton of fun to hit with. From the first time I walked in I've felt very welcome here. Really glad to have found this club!

I have been taking tennis lessons with Tom for over a year now, he is by far the kindest human one could ever encounter. He is very patient, informative, and enthusiastic. He makes sure you are comfortable from start to end of session, along with making sure you are familiar with terms and forms. He truly wants to see all his students succeed and is enthusiastic about them doing so. I sincerely couldn't say kinder things about Tom and his teaching styles.

My 11 year old son goes to The Shrewsbury Club for tennis. His instructor is Nathan. We have been to a few other clubs /instructors in the past and by far this is best place. My son loves working with Nathan. Nathan is patient and encouraging yet he challenges my son. We have seen great progress and hope to see more. I highly recommend the Shrewsbury Club for youth tennis. Nathan is great with kids. They have fun yet learn a lot. Its perfect !

I joined the intermediate tennis group coached by Tom last spring. I hadn't played in a long time, but Tom's clinic made it so easy to pick up skills again and get right back into the game. He covers fundamentals, runs drills, and let's us play some competitive games. I loved the clinic on Tuesday nights so much that I joined the Saturday group as well. Great group of people and I highly recommend!

Had a tennis lesson with Nathan here and it was a fantastic experience. Nathan's thorough expertise combined with his ability to teach has certainly made a big difference in how easily I was able to follow his instruction and take meaningful strides to improve my game. Nathan Lookwhy is an incredibly supportive and kind individual who really cares about his clients and is invested in allowing them to reach their full potential. Looking forward to coming back soon!

I really enjoyed my tennis lessons at the Shrewsbury Club with coach Nathan Lookaway. Nathan was a good teacher and very professional. The staff is also very friendly. It is a nice environment to play tennis.

My two kids have been at summer camp at The Shrewsbury Club and it is amazing!! They love it- so many different programs / activities, great friendly staff, very flexible and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend. I'm so glad we discovered this place!

My son (8) has been taking private tennis lessons with Coach Nate for almost two years. The amount of progress he has made in that time is astounding. Coach Nate takes the time to get to know his students, and as a result, the kids form a connection with their Coach that makes them excited to learn and play tennis. He is extremely patient, even with high energy kids who have a hard time holding still and paying attention. He makes learning tennis fun and exciting, which helps hold their interest. My son plays year round and absolutely couldn’t be happier. The skills Coach Nate has worked with him on, such as hand eye coordination and footwork, also translate into his other sports and I notice that he has improved in his other athletic endeavors since taking lessons with Coach Nate. Highly recommend!

My child has been attending the multi-sports camp here for the last few months on days when school is out. We have had a great experience, he keeps asking me when the next day is he gets to go back! We love the low camper:counselor ratio and they have great covid precautions in place. Sarah, the director, is always very responsive and helpful!
