It's not a bad place, generally quiet, no social media "influencers" recording themselves, enough to "get the job done"... I've been lifting seriously for 13 years and have been to every gym in the Grand Rapids area. My takeaways are that they need to replace their adjustable bench-press with a proper, commercial grade flat one and get a dedicated incline press, their current one simply is too award to use comfortably (especially for shorter people) and is a safety hazard in that regard. I see many people who use the squat rack as a place to bench-press due to this reason. Which causes issues for those wanting to squat (only two racks available). An updated cable station would be nice also. If you're shorter (5' 8" or less) then you may find their benches awkwardly high as well. Although I have an active membership via my Active&Fit, I don't use this location as much because of these reasons.

This locally owned gym is very welcoming. The manager Josh is approachable and welcoming. Josh is also available as a personal trainer which is fantastic considering I am a novice when it comes to weight training. The value for money beats out any of the larger gym chains in the area. If you are looking for a place that will help you on your way forward with your fitness Journey XD Power Fitness should be your pick!

Good gym however cardio equipment is not "Big person" friendly. As a bigger guy (276 lbs) when I use any of the treadmills, ecliptals. It makes loud noise/clicking that makes it very uncomfortable to want to keep working out as it makes people look at you. Other than the cardio equipment I love the gym and have no complaints. Unfortunately I did join mainly to do cardio so I try to find times when people arnt really there.

I went for a week and struggled to get a good workout. The equipment seems kinda outdated and not very BIG people friendly more in the small room.
