Maximum Fitness Shack

I went to this gym for a month paid about $24 for that month. I ended up moving away and it’s now June I’ve been getting charged twice a month for a gym that I’ve tried to cancel multiple times. You can call but it goes straight to voicemail I can’t shut down my card because it’s a credit card. I highly suggest not going here I’ve called three times a week since February to get it canceled I also went in and drove over 2 hours just to cancel it I’m very dissatisfied and I’m writing this because this is my first complaint until legal action begins

I don't understand how hard it is to simply cancel a membership at a gym, call every week to a month when you people don't do anything to help... nonetheless work and other things pop up for a guy like myself. Unbelievable, don't come to this gym if you're looking to get ripped off every month for a steep price. Best option is to find a planet fitness center for half the price let alone free.

Nice, smaller gym, with great working equipment. Very clean, and plenty of sanitary items. 24 hour access is a bonus

The gym is a great place until you try to cancel your membership. I tried to cancel my membership for four months without success. Had four unauthorized charges on my card for each of the four month. Calling every month and explaining the situation didn't help either. I eventually had to get my bank involved to help get my money back. They were only able to get me three of the four months back but that was good enough for me. I was just happy the problem was over.

Keli is absolutely pleasure to work with. Signed up online, got buzzed in remotely same day I signed up and I got my access card next day. Place is super clean and never too busy. Equipment is nearly new and they keep adding new things. I signed up in February and noticed that parking lot is somewhat dark at night, told Keli about it and two days later parking lot was lit with brand new industrial LED projectors. If you looking for gym, this is it!

Gym is clean and well kept, has great patrons and trainers, and most of the cardio machines work most of the time.However, I'm writing this review to share my experience in attempting to cancel my membership with the owner, Kelly. After six months into a one-year contract, I wanted to cancel my membership because the gym is too far from my home for the winter months. When I was charged after thinking my membership was cancelled, I called the gym and spoke with Kelly. At 7:40 AM Kelly screamed at me through the phone and hung up on me after telling me that she is the owner and does not have to cancel my membership since I was in a contract and she would not refund my money. I had to take the matter up with my bank to get my money refunded and cancel my debit card. Not only am I upset after being disrespected so early in the day, I now have to take out cash for all transactions for the next 3-5 business days until my new card arrives.

Very clean gym staff is great.

Started a membership here and cancelled it, since then I’ve had two unauthorized transactions that screwed up my account so don’t give them your banking information or they’ll steal your money from you.
