I’m in town a couple times a year and I just need a place to work out for a week at a time.Mission Fitness is that place. They have a great 1 week and 2 week pass that fits perfectly for my situation. So much equipment: benches, racks, platforms, you name it. Parking lot is always full, but still almost never have to wait for things. Chris is a nice guy too to top it all off.

Great place to work out. I have an LA Fitness membership as well but here no stares or people acting up. No lines for the squat rack. I have increased my total weight lifting maxs and weighted reps. Membership is less than a cheap coffee a day. Best choice I made.

I’d say this is the best gym if you are close to Alhambra or El Sereno area. Decent size. There are several squat racks and they recently bought new machines. You won’t have to wait for a machine here. Price is $65 a month but you get a quality gym that is very rarely crowded. Wendy and Chris are great, and care about their customers.

Take advantage of all the equipment they provide and cleanliness. This is a real gym, L.A Fitness should be called Alley Fitness because that’s exactly what it turned into. An alley, dirty with sketchy people and no weights available. Commercial gyms suck!!

This is the best gym in the area. I'd even say it's the best gym within a 7-10 mile radius. The equipment is in excellent shape and I've never had to wait for a bench press, squat rack, or a machine. There is plenty of space for any kind of exercise you want to do. They also have C2 rowers, Assault Bikes, treadmills, etc.The facility is clean and the restrooms/locker rooms are spacious and have multiple stalls and showers. The owners, Chris and Wendy, keep everything in the facilities and snacks/refrigerator stocked. It's also priced very reasonably for the type of gym it is. Most powerlifting gyms with worse equipment charge almost double what is charged here. For as long as I live anywhere near this gym, I will always be a member.

Great gym for those looking to get in, workout and get on with the day.Plenty of free weights and space. Not like your chain fitness centers, where folks may be hogging up equipment busy on their phones.I purchased a one week pass since I was in town visiting family for the holidays.Looking forward to coming back when I visit again.

I’ve been a consistent gym member for almost 20yrs. This is easily one of the top 3 gyms I’ve ever seen. Plenty of weight, racks, and equipment you usually won’t find in a gym. Everyone there respects the gym so it’s always clean and organized.$65 bucks per month might sound more than the local competition, but as soon as I walked in it was clear - this place is in a class of its own & has no competition.

I'm only on a business trip nearby and bought a week pass so that I don't get wasted. And hell, it is exactly what I'm looking for and I wish I have one of these at my place!Lots of free-weights, rubber bands and stuffs for both power, performance and conditional training. Dumbbells and kettle-bells never miss a weight. All variety of bars and racks. Not only the staffs, but the members here as well, are enthusiastic, friendly and helpful. Always willing to help you and give free advice. Everybody is also very devoted, rarely occupies an equipment and plays their phone instead of training (though I did when I was posting this comment, forgive me lol). Everybody return their weights and wipe the equipment after training.Forget about those commercial gyms, have this and do some real training.
