When I tried to cancel my membership they wouldn't let me. Even with it being a no contract agreement I was told I would have to pay a charge or continue paying until it had been a year from my initial sign up. The other way to cancel membership is they charge you for the remaining months before they stop charging you. When you sign up the take your bank routing number. Now I know why. I had changed my card number to avoid charges that I no longer wanted. And two months charges still went through on my card. I've had to call my bank put stop payment on the business and dispute the charges. The gym itself is great. Equipment is great condition. Locker rooms are spacious and clean. I just no longer wanted to go to the gym. Other than having a time trying to cancel, it is a great gym.

I would give negative stars if I could. In the couple years I have been going, the gym has declined terribly. I recently went in to cancel. Previously I was told just before my pay date, this time it was by the 10th of the month. How convient it is that it's the 11th. What a coincidence! Definitely going to a different gym!

Got two black accounts, wife got to the gym, lady said she couldn't find her account.... She made a new one... Getting charged for 3 accounts now... No one can find it. I'm thinking I'll just go to the bank and have them reject all transactions as fraud till it's fixed.update- so i went in to talk to them, no manager, left a note. got charged again this month. im assuming the employee threw my note and information away

The gym and changing rooms are clean and fresh. The equipment is easy to use and maintained. The staff and members are friendly and helpful. Best thing I've done for myself lately!

Pros:Inexpensive and close to work. Staff is friendly and helpful and do a great job keeping the gym clean and equipment maintained.Cons:Sometimes it is a challenge to get on the equipment I need to use for a given workout. My lunch break is the only time I have to hit the gym and my time window is very limited so it's frustrating sometimes. It seems like most gyms such as this one don't have the right balance between the number of cardio machines and weights and resistance machines. It's overwhelmingly cardio and most of the machines are not in use like ever. Yet people pile up to get on the weight machines because there's not enough.Recommendations:I'd like to see about 15-20% of the cardio machines removed to make room for more free weights, especially barbells which there aren't many of currently. Just my 2 cents but I think it would benefit everyone and make the gym more balanced based on the usage patterns I have observed as nearly 3 years as a member.Overall:I recommend this gym as it's hard to beat what you get for the price.

Some people follow you in this place and steal your stuffs, it is sad but They have stolen me more than $150 after I left my bag in the lockers room with my wallet in my pant. They check after me when i was working out and took all my cash. I reported it at the office, but they said they could not do anything about that. I warn everybody who has a membership there to keep its stuff at the safest level because people check after you while you are at the gymn 😡😡😡😡😡

Nice employees, beautiful showers, lots of treadmills, good location. Other gyms have shampoo and conditioner in their showers- you should do the same. More convenience means more members!

Typical older PF but this place needs to be shut down for a weekend & DEEP cleaned! On the surface things were okay but hard to get to places haven't seen any attention in a while, toilet bowl was clean but behind the seat hadn't been cleaned in some time, Matt's are pretty dirty, I get the water is hard in Texas but a little Lim-A-way would go a long way on the counter tops & fixtures. You can tell it's a hard used place that just needs some TLC. Positive things were they have a great stretching area, awesome staff, Mr. Lemmon was a great help & this PF by far has the hottest & strongest shower of the 100 plus PF's I've been too! One suggestion on the showers, move the shower curtains out to the end so there's more room in the showers.

Planet Fitness Amarillo is always clean and never too crowded. All the employees and members seem very friendly. I see all ages and all body types and everyone seems comfortable being there. PF has just about any equipment that a person could want.

Friendly staff, clean gym which is very well equipped with nice equipment. I am very impressed with this gym and it is so non-expensive for a membership that it is totally worth way more than $10 a month. The locker rooms and showers are clean, spacious and nice.
