Open Gym Premier in Anaheim offers a spacious sports complex primarily known for volleyball and basketball tournaments. Located at the American Sports Centers, the facility is well-maintained and clean, ensuring a pleasant environment for visitors. The venue has various amenities such as a snack shop and an equipment shop, and they offer food and beverages for purchase, including Starbucks coffee. Parking is adequate with additional lots available nearby.
However, seating can be limited and temperatures inside the venue can become uncomfortably hot due to lack of air conditioning. While the gym provides a great space for sports, some patrons feel the cost of entry and parking fees are high, and better ventilation is needed for a more comfortable experience.

Also just one thing of your refs ever say to step outside qfter the coaches are telling them about how aggressive the other team is and not calling fouls for both teams next time I will drag him out side with me us as parents and family who come to show our kids support. We dont expect to watch our kids get pushed around especially the younger kids I am not ok with younger kids who are still learning this game and still developing there style of play to get hurt . so to let other coaches and refs let some very blatant fouls go uncalled and then laugh when the coach calls him out on his play calling or being on his phone during a game so please check your refs and I have video of the game as well .

Not for experienced security officers. If you’re an experienced security officer, be warned this isn’t the place for you. While the staff (mostly young kids) are friendly and work hard, it’s the parents and some of the upper management that make it difficult to handle security issues. Parents who misbehave are allowed to stay in the facility even though their behavior and language are unacceptable. Coaches who are ejected from games are allowed to stay in the spectator area by management. Guests who violate zero tolerance policies are allowed to stay, completely making security useless and it’s embarrassing. Upper management does not come to the weekend events, leaving the younger staff to deal with a lot of issues. When you question why these things happen, upper management then will question security’s effectiveness. Management unfortunately does not respect the value of experience with security. It makes the job much harder to do with the emblem on your shirt, with the word “ security”. While your effectiveness is micro managed by staff with zero security experience.Four officers and myself all spent a lot of time with continued frustrated guests over a lack of parking, no air circulation in the building, the cost of admission, language/verbal arguments and at times physical confrontations without the appreciation of the management. Guests and spectators can and are able to verbally abuse security with no consequence.Perfect job though, for a beginner, you can monitor wristbands and keep people from bringing in outside food and let management handle the bigger issues.Otherwise save yourself the embarrassment of management letting poorly behaved spectators and coaches get away with intolerable behavior without repercussion. No hourly wage is worth the lack of self respect you experience here.

Big special thanks to Miquel Bennet and his phenomenal team of exspert coaches. As a previous player of OGP with Coach Miquel back in the day; beyond my skill on the court I was privileged to be apart of an amazing team through the faincal aid program. Coach Miquel made sure my financial position was not going to be the reason why I could not play. With that kind of heart and years of his mentorship on and off the court I can only show my gratitude and say agin... thank you coach!

My daughter receives her conditioning and skills training here. Being a coach and son of an Olympic gold medalist, I watched and evaluated the coaches before allowing her to train here. I am very happy with her training and she really enjoys it. Keep in mind she is a natural athlete and very coachable.
