I used to avoid going to the gym but I love going to Better Fitness. The trainers are all excellent! Training is COMPLETELY personalized. I am fitter now than I was 20 years ago.

When I started coming to Better Living I was really scared. I'd had a really bad experience with a personal fitness trainer who really didn't know what he was doing and hurt me. Good thing that place went out of business! It took months of PT and recovery. Starting at Better Living with personal trading, and full-body fit classe, my fear quickly evaporated. I was so welcomed and cared for. I'm not an easy case, with several injuries and limitations. I was looking for help to get stronger, have less pain, and to learn how to exercise without hurting myself. 18months later I am still coming 3xs/week! I love all the trainers here, appreciate their knowledge and help. And this place is fun. The best people come here. No judgements, no creeps. All really friendly, interesting, and happy people. I love the classes!

Great facility, even better people! The Full Body Fit class is a great workout utilizing a variety of machine-based and non-machine-based exercises with stretching and balance at the end. Work hard in lots of ways! And 1:1 personal training with Frank has been an awesome way to learn more about the right way to work out and build variety into everyday workouts.

I am a Team USA athlete. Better Living Fitness Center (BLFC) plays an important role for my training. I started personal training sessions with Mark and taking Full Body Fit classes in January 2018 for my off-season training. The nutrition consultation they offer helps me set up my meal plans for training, race, and rest periods. BLFC keeps me in good shape! I won silver and bronze medals at the World Dragon Boat Championships in summer 2019.What I love about this place is how welcoming it is. I am always impressed by how the staff recognizes every member by their names when people walk in. The members are friendly too. I like going to the Full Body Fit classes and enjoy the company of the other members. Better Living Fitness Center is a great place to get fit and be healthy!

When I first went to Better Living, I had been in pain because of injury for about 2 years. I met with Mark for personal training, and he helped me recover and regain strength and flexibility. I still go for personal training, and now also go to the Full Body Fit classes. It's fun to work out with a group and all the trainers take give excellent instructions and helpful modifications. Thanks to the knowledgeable, helpful trainers at Better Living, I'm back to paddling and running!

I highly recommend the personal trainers at Better Living Fitness. They are all well qualified in the field. Even more important, they take the time to understand your goals and tailor the training sessions to what you want to accomplish. Each session is explained at the beginning, and adaptations are made as needed throughout. There’s no “one size fits all” here.I started working with a trainer at Better Living Fitness at the beginning of October, and soon after added nutrition counseling. Both have been a great experience, and I’m happy to say that I just had to go shopping for new, smaller jeans! I’m also stronger and more flexible, a result of the whole-person approach to health and well-being that runs through all aspects of the training/coaching.

I literally limped into Better Living Fitness during their open house in August 2018. I was in a lot of pain and having difficulty walking due to chronic severe osteoarthritis. I was overweight and completely discouraged, believing there was no hope for me to feel better because I was too old (I'm 69) and too deconditioned to benefit from exercise or weight training. Boy, was I wrong!! I am now 5 weeks into my strength training program, working out twice a week with Josh and Devin, and I am already much stronger than when I started. I cannot say enough good things about these two trainers. They encouraged me right from the start by designing a program tailored specifically for me at a level that is challenging but do-able. They have helped me learn to stretch my muscles properly and as a result my pain has been decreased by more than half. Having less pain to deal with has boosted my energy and my mood. I have noticed a definite increase in my over-all strength and I am no longer limping. I have lost 10 pounds in 5 weeks. I have been surprised at how much I look forward to my training sessions. Instead of the drudgery I had believed exercising to be, Josh and Devin always make it FUN! They both have the patience of Job and are very kind to boot. All the fears I previously had of going to a gym have been put to rest by Better Living. It's a great place to work out in a relaxed atmosphere surrounded by friendly smiling faces. I highly recommend it to anyone of any age regardless of your level of fitness.

The professional environment at BLF is hard to find and exactly what I was looking for. I started the group classes here after my consultation with Frank. The first thing I noticed about the gym was the high level of professionalism from everyone there. The staff and members are happy, polite, knowledgeable and respectful. This was my number one priority in my next gym, to find a professional and “safe” place to workout where there are no creeps sneaking pictures or offering services when unqualified to do so and this environment is safe. Also, I’m amazed by and grateful to Mark who fixed my back pain. He noticed I was in pain during a group class and offered his knowledge and services to assess my back pain. My back has shown leaps of improvement after just two sessions with him working on it. All staff who lead the small group classes are focused on injury avoidance and constantly encourage proper form during exercises while making it fun. I highly recommend this gym to anyone who is looking to get fit and strong especially if working through injuries or pain.

Approaching my late 50’s and lacking personal motivation to exercise regularly, I signed up with Better Living Fitness over a year ago to just get in better shape and form a weekly routine. I also needed nutritional assistance since I travel a great deal and eat poorly on the road. I need someone to motivate me though a workout and the team at Better Living is superior at it. I mostly work with Mark and occasionally with Frank and Devin and they are all personable, professional and highly qualified trainers. Mark is the owner and I can tell he has very high standards. I see people of all ages and degrees of fitness there and each person appears to have a customized program. If you just haven’t made a regular fitness routine work yet, or what you’re doing now isn’t ideal, I highly recommend the team at Better Living Fitness.
