We love Gym America! Our daughter started in their parent and tot classes and is now in her second year on their competitive team. She used to be so shy and has gained so much confidence from gymnastics! Our son joins for special events and summer camps too. It is a family owned gym with a wonderful culture that ensures everyone fits in. The staff are like family to us and the gym really is our home away from home. We love that they emphasize fun and character building and not just winning. If you're looking for a gymnastics facility in the Ann Arbor area, this is the best place you will find!

There is so much emphasis put on the whole person, not just the athlete. The boys have struggled together and been successful together. It’s so much more than just another Gym. Coach K and GA are part of our family.

My son has been at Gym America since he was 8 years old, and he is now 17! It is his home away from home. He has gained tremendous gymnastics skills (vault...rings...etc...), and most importantly, Gym America has helped him grow in so many ways as a person. The men's coach (Kurtis Rosen) is incredible. If you are interested in having your son learn gymnastics in a supportive environment--this is the place to be!

Gym America is a true gem for our community. We have been part of the Gym America community since before the competitive boys team was established. We are especially grateful for Coach Kurtis and his commitment, care, and support of our boys, not only as gymnasts, but as individuals. This was especially evident during the height of the pandemic. Even though we were not able to meet in person, he found creative ways for the boys to connect via Zoom and practice together remotely. Later, practices were done outside. And when indoor practices resumed, attention to safety continued while maintaining communication and connection. Underneath all of this was for our boys to stay connected socially and to have a sense of belonging. Gym America staff develops amazing gymnasts, but most importantly, they focus on the whole person, not just the athlete. This really matters and I am so grateful to the entire staff, Claudia and Ed, and Coach Kurtis for helping our son develop into the wonderful young man he is today. Thank you, Gym America, we are so happy to have found you all those many years ago.

Our son started in the toddler program around 3yo. It was a great place for his energy and wall climbing. He’s now 15yo and competing level 8 on the Boy’s Team with Coach Kurtis and we all love Gym America! There is so much emphasis put on the whole person, not just the athlete. The boys have struggled together and been successful together. It’s so much more than just another Gym. Coach K and GA are part of our family.

Awesome place for gymnastics! Our youngest (5yr) started this year and loves it. Instructors are fun and patient. Kids of all ages practicing. Facilities look well kept and maintained. They even offer open gym on Saturdays, but I think you have to register or call ahead for that.

Registered my child for a class, I guess it was not confirmed. We showed up on Saturday for the class and the front desk lady was EXTREMELY rude. I say “hi My child X is here for a class.” She’s like “no you’re not—our classes have been full for months”. I asked if we could register or be placed on a waitlist and she’s like “umm no you’ll hear from us if that’s a possibility”. Now my toddler is crying. My fault for not confirming we were registered, but goodness she could be kind about it. They very well May have a good gym, but I’ll never know.

My preschooler has been taking classes at Gym America for 6 months and she loves it. Coach Jamie is amazing with the littlest kids; she's funny and silly all the while teaching gym skills and helping them learn to take turns and listen. The staff, coaches and students all wear masks and stay distanced from each other. The check-in process is streamline and the facility is spotless. As soon as instructional classes resume I will enroll my first grader here too. Thank you!

We love Gym America! My daughter has been a part of the GA family for 9 years. I think the thing that the GA team does best is handle adversity. They impressed me with the way they used the Larry Nassar case to empower the kids to use their voice, and now they have been ROCK STARS in handling the pandemic. I literally trust them with my kid's life. I'm so grateful for the influence the coaches have been my daughter's life. I highly recommend them to everyone I know.
