Good location, next to Big Lots, helpful staff, clean facility, large facility, good selection of channels on multiple tvs, I wish they were 24/7 on weekends

I joined planet fitness so that I could get more healthy and in shape. The price is great you can get a membership for $10 a month which I really enjoy.

Organized and timely with great coaches and staff! The workouts are intense in the best way. Any fitness level can join and benefit!

Manager Justine targets and discriminates against men with different bulids when it comes to different gym clothes that are MEANT for working out in. My father was targeted by the manager Justine, for wearing the rock brand shirt because it was too "revealing". I work out at the same gym where I see girls wearing bras with spandex shorts and no one says anything to them but Justine repeatedly come to my dad telling him what to wear, my father is a respectful man who loves to workout with his kids. Today my dad was workingout with his 13 year son, wearing the shirt he felt comfortable working out in and the manager Justine told him he can't wear it and called the cops on him which resulted in him being escorted out with his son which was humiliating. Overall there was never an issue until Justine became manager and planet fitness is supposed to be a judgemental free zone but this seems pretty judgemental to me..

I love working out there and tanning sometimes taking my shower but I was lied to buy Mike the manager because he said he talked me up for us homeless people who are on the shelter to be able to keep our property inside the lockers lungs that we locked with our own locks even gave me two combination locks because they cut my legs up and doing some use the far ends the lockers room and when we did that as soon as Deacon took over he had us remove d and said we could not knowing it's special privileges and they don't care a lot of money to work out and tan and on other stuff there and some of that workers are not very respectful I was supposed to get interview with Deacon it would have been my second interview to get hired and he never even answers your phone calls returns your messages or did the second interview

Clean gym no doubt, but I have had it with having to hunt a worker down to beg for use of the massage tables I paid for.Why is this process so frustrating? Will be canceling and finding another place to go. Didnt work all day to have to deal with snotnosed brats to turn my machine on afterwards.

Unfortunately what is supposed to be a judgement free zone has turned to quite the opposite because of the new manager Justine. She has repeatedly targeted my husband for wearing shirts she deems too revealing, asking him to change even asking him to leave because of his shirt.They are store bought cut offs, the Rock Brand. Many other members at PF are wearing the same style shirt but are not asked to change or leave because their chest doesn't show. Too me, this is body shaming to its finest. Because he has a muscular and wide chest, shirts fit him differently, he should not have wear something different. Pretty soon they will have a bra size restriction and if you larger, you cannot wear a sports bra... I am disappointed that the original philosophy that we so loved about Planet is being lost because of a manager with a vendetta.

NEW Manager JUSTINE canceled my membership for wearing "The Rock" brand cut off workout shirt! I've been a member at planet fitness in Appleton WI West for over 10 years and absolutely loved the atmosphere. That was until last week when a new "Manager" was hired. My 14 year old son and I were working out and she discriminated and harassed me, also went as far as calling the local Police to escort me out! (Humiliated) As I looked around others were wearing the same type and brand shirt which I made her aware of. She stated it looks different on you because it shows more of your chest, "this was discrimination" it's because I have a wider frame body! Unfortunately because of a single employee I'll be moving to another gym along with my wife and 4 children. If you're looking for a gym I would NOT recommend Planet Fitness Appleton WI West!!!!

I believe I spoke with Nicole on the phone. She answered the phone with a horrible tone, sounding very uninterested in what I had to say. I simple called to ask about day passes and if tanning was included in that. She proceeded to tell me in a rude tone “no you need a membership” I continued by following up asking if they offer day passes? She responded with “no” in a harsh tone and was being very short with me, not following up with any information. I said that fine and was going to tell her to have a good night and she hung up on me. Very unimpressed and won’t be calling or going back anytime soon:)

My wife and I have been going to this gym for about 3 months. It’s a new and clean facility with friendly staff. I’ve been going to gyms for about 9 years and in versions states, I have never met so many confrontational men in a gym as I have here. My wife and I have one or two men use machines next to us every time we visit. I haven’t gone to this gym a single time without having someone stare at me. We would switch gyms but it’s so cheap with tanning that we deal with how uncomfortable we both are.Overall we like the gym and understand this is a possibility at any public facility, it’s worth the money for what you get access to as long as you can tolerate dealing with strange men.
