Out of The Spot's four locations, this one is definitely my favorite for bouldering. The routes felt more consistent throughout (i.e. "This route is crimpy/juggy/slopey etc.") and each route is made up of holds of the same color, as opposed to being marked with tape. Can't wait to boulder here again!

The setting in this Gym is terrible. Why does a 3 spot have you jumping around like a parkour course? Half the climbs are just lazily set and blended into another climb, the other half have no clear defining traits (the setters seem to like making two routes that blend into each other at the top and they lack any creativity). Beginner climbers or people warming up, should not be running and jumping off of volumes because the setters lack competence, for the same price you can go to Earthtreks and climb on ropes as well as boulder. I think the Boulder team got in over their heads with another location, its just not worth the price they are asking, and that sucks because I polished/honed my climbing skills in the Boulder Spot.
