Dirty facility. Many machines badly in need of repair. Tried cancelling membership, and they made it a nightmare to do so. It is going to cost you to cancel. They lied and said I never asked to cancel, but I did. They then added fees to my account before i could cancel. BEWARE!

I'm going to leave my old review for comparison below.I have to say that things have improved here. The manager did apologize a few months ago for some of the things I mentioned in my earlier review. They seem to be trying harder to make everyone feel like they are valued members, not just the musclebound athletic types, but the regular folks who are just trying to stay as healthy as they can. While overall they aren't the friendliest bunch, I don't need that in a gym, they don't seem like they are phoning it in anymore.PS: I did look at another gym, and they wanted me to give them all my contact information just be be able to look around the gym and check out their equipment, said it was for liability reasons or something, I walked out._______________________________________________________________________If you’re looking for a gym membership with a club that works hard to treat you like a valued member and tries to keep lines of communication open, then you better go somewhere else!I signed up back when the pandemic first started, they didn't close like other gyms (one star), and they have most of the equipment you may need (second star). They used to have a manager that cared about making members feel welcome and appreciated, but she left for a better paying gig.Now the staff sits around staring at their phones (or eating), never looking up to greet clients. The only people they'll acknowledge seems to be people paying for additional training or their personal gym buddies. One morning I went out of my way to say good morning to the manager just to see what would happen, he mumbled "morning" as he passed and never made eye contact with me.Last week I noticed one of the bathrooms had no toilet paper in it. It was one of those dispensers that held like four rolls. I told a kid that worked there but he was too busy flirting with the new girl to do anything about it for 10 to 15 minutes. Hope no one had to use that bathroom!People don't need a song and dance routine just for walking in or being members, but treating them as a valued customer shouldn't be too much to ask. I think it's time to drive around to some other gyms and see how they react to the possibility of a new member.

Funny, I put a review up yesterday and it’s not showing? They must pay the extra money to not show negative reviews! Crazy how that works in today’s time. Guess you call that professional? THIS gym is a sad place-they never want you to leave. The Love of money is the root of all evil! So if you ever plan on stopping their gym just know that it’s going to cost you MORE than signing up!!!

Ever heard of a gym membership going to collections? You will here! I was a member for over a year. While I can not say for sure if it was from the old outdated equipment or the lack of padding on the equipment, I ended hurting my sciatic nerve while in this gym. I was nervous about going back and injuring myself again and did not go the last 4 to 5 months that I paid for. My debit card number got compromised & canceled because of another place and when the manager, Kayla, text me about updating my debit card, I simply responded with "please cancel my account." I did not want a refund for months not used, just did not want to continue paying and not going. So, since they have a 30 day cancelation period... What Kayla informed me was that they would not cancel my membership and keep charging it until 85 days hit... Once 85 days past due hit, the gym would just sell my inflated 3 months membership to a collection agency...this harming my credit standings and would have to pay more for 3 months membership, I never would have had an opportunity to use. Do not join this gym, they will never let you leave without paying for additional months. They also do not even provide towels to their members or know who their members are. When I walk in to cancel my account and pay for another needed month, you could at least know my name of a member after a year of membership.

I have been coming to this gym for 3 years. It has all of the equipment necessary to get a good workout regardless of your goals. The gym is clean, and the staff here is always extremely friendly and helpful.

Hate to exercise but LOVE it here!I I go to 3 Silver Sneakers Fitness Classes 3 times a week- they offer4! Cardio,Yoga , circuit & Aerobics. The teachers- super friendly & lots of great music. My husband works out on equipment while I'm in class- never found anything broken. Shower/ bathrooms are ok- a little old but serve their purpose 👍🏼

This is now my go to gym. The weight equipment is mostly Hammer Strength that use plate weights. There is a vast selection of dumbbells. Several bench presses. There are two squat racks and a smith machine. Three Concept2 row machines. Plenty of TRX stations. Dozens of cardio machines, but that is not my thing. I like how it is always nearly empty, never have had to wait for anything here. The music is very pleasant and the staff friendly.

The people that manage this location are lies, thieves, and cowards! Their personal trainers aren’t committed and unprofessional. The lockers rooms are not sanitary and have water bugs in them! Half of the equipment does not work!!! Lastly when you sign up for membership they deceptively try to stick you with a membership with them for 12 months! After months of not using my membership and requested cancelation they tried to charge my account for over $200 without my permission, after I called and was confirmed that my account with this gym was “frozen” and was told my card would not be charged!! These people are frauds ... save your time & money !!!!

This has been my fitness home for a while now and I have always been impressed with cleanliness and wonderful customer service here. Cynthia is an amazing trainer and I have lost over 30lbs so far and want to encourage others to do the same. Don’t let one bad review keep you from joining, amazing transformations happen here.

Kelly from Watkinsville is the best, she is super positive and helpful, always smiling. She helped me alter my gym membership so that I get the best experience out of the gym. As well as help my husband get set up with personal training sessions that best fits his schedule and price range. Watkinsville location is the best for people who enjoy working out privately, with little crowd. Despite being small the gym accommodates many needs, offering classes, private trainers and 24hrs service. Not to mention you always have the option to go to the bigger gym in Athens so best of both worlds.
