literally impossible to cancel your membership and for that reason I will never get another one at any Crunch. Oh you can’t do it over the phone, or the website, or the app you HAVE to be in person or send a letter in the mail… who sends letters in the mail to cancel memberships. Not to mention the manager is extremely rude….don’t waste your time or money

The good:It has most equipment to get you by if you’re a powerlifter, weightlifter, or bodybuilder. The workers are nice. It’s great for socializing if that’s your thing because half of Athens is in here at one time. The bad:The A/C doesn’t seem to ever work despite 200 people being in here at once.Did I mention literally TWO HUNDRED people? You will probably be waiting for equipment if you go between 5-9pm on weekdays. The toilet paper in this place is thinner than a Kenyan marathon runner.Equipment is decent. Leg press doesn’t go low enough. Barbells are mid. Calf machine is always broken. You can’t drag the sled or do anything athletic because all the Stacy’s are in the way doing yoga/abs that they could do at home.Lastly, people do rows, lateral raises, and stand in the dumbbell walkway completely oblivious. Other members take your weights right off the bench without asking. All in all, it’s a decent gym that needs more equipment and better mannered members.

I love Crunch! Great fitness classes, wonderful instructors, and they always make working out fun. The "no judgement" attitude makes it comfortable to get started, no matter what your fitness level is. But lately, they've far exceeded my expectations. I'm dealing with some health issues, and they have gone above and beyond to support and help me in any way they can. The staff, especially Andrew G., really cares about their members, and they know what true customer service is. I highly recommend this place!

I was a member at this Crunch location when I was in school at UGA. Seriously the best gym in Athens with all the equipment you could need plus tanning and classes if you’re willing to pay a little extra for the peak membership. The staff is also very friendly and helpful.

Love the gym, the equipment, and environment…. However the water fountain water temperature is not cold, one of the men’s showers flood meaning the drain is clogged with likely nasty debris from past usage.

They offer you a service of $9.99 per month, but they don't tell you that you must also pay $44.32 for the signature and the following month $49.99 for the annual subscription. At the end, at 9.99, the fees are added and a total of $11.98 remains. If you do the math, the year turns out to be very expensive.

The gym charges extra fees on top of the monthly rate, fees that are not brought to your attention while signing. When you call about how ridiculous that is (because extra fees are ok when they’re clearly communicated), they tell you ‘sorry, you’ve already signed it and that’s the law’ - I can’t believe how people can just rob like that.
