Absolutely the best family oriented class for kids and adults, sensei McElroy is a wonderful instructor and role model for my our son, exactly what we was looking for, he takes the Dojo karate teachings very seriously with a graceful attitude to make the understanding educational for our son, we love everything about this place!!!😊🙂

Sensei Shawn came and shared his martial arts knowledge with a group my of participants with developmental disabilities. This was a program away from Classic City Karate and Sensei Shawn was very helpful and willing to make the program special with a demonstration and weapon history lesson. This program is a huge asset, not only for people involved in martial arts, but the community of Athens itself. Thank you Smack for your dedication to teaching and reaching out into the community.

The instructor is super fun, super knowledgeable, and has an incredible ability to transfer his skill sets. I enjoy the space, the class structure, and the overall atmosphere of the Dojo. The material is obtainable yet presented in a way that keeps me challenged and learning. I started 4 months ago with the introductory offer with no real plans to continue but now I look forward to every class! Can't wait to see this Dojo grow! Thanks Smack!

My son had an amazing time at Padded Weapons summer camp! Not only did he learn how to make, use, & respect weapons, he learned how to spar, how to win AND lose well, and self control. Fantastic staff, beautiful facilities, & incredible curriculum!

My kids (8 and 10) attended the ninja olympics summer camp and had a blast. It was a great way to be active but out of the heat. We highly recommend it!

I have known Sensei Smack for many years. Not only is he a great instructor for both children and adults, but his knowledge and enthusiasm for the martial arts is truly one of a kind. I would highly recommend this dojo to anyone looking for trying out martial arts in Athens, GA.
