CrossFit Liberate

I travel full time for work and have the opportunity to try different CrossFit gyms and build community. I have been at this gym for a week so far and have been very impressed. Equipment is in awesome shape, very clean gym, and the people are super friendly! I also love when the owner is present in the gym. Just makes the environment more enjoyable and I notice a more engaged coaching staff. If you are looking for a CrossFit gym in the Athens area, this is your best bet!

Stopped in for the week as I was visiting UGA and wanted to get a few workouts in and CrossFit Liberate was exactly what I was looking for. Josh the owner ensured I was all set up. Plus all the coaches and folks I met were fantastic! Would definitely come back.

Dropped into 20+ crossfit gyms over the years, Liberate is one the nicest facilities I've come across. Beautiful space, high ceilings, nice air circulation, natural light, and fully kitted out. The team and members have always been welcoming and supportive. Don't be intimidated by the fit folks throwing weight around; there's no judgement, and always friendly scaling options so you can find your level.

I gave 5 starts 2 years ago and I'll do the same today.Community is strong regardless ownership. Our coaches are knowledgeable and prepared. they are doing their best to provide excellent service and believe me they do!The location is perfectequipment necessary to do workoutscoaches can accommodate if you're feeling injuredyou have personalized attention from the coaches.Programming is legit and help you to progress at your own pace.now the place has a new owner. but at the end what matters is that the Community is Strong and everyone will feel welcome

I was so impressed with the warm welcome I received at CrossFit Liberate in Athens, GA.I had asked if I could use the facilities because I needed access to a Concept 2 rowing machine. They were so kind a s accommodating. I attended a class and was impressed with the coach that lead the class.

Joining CFL was the best decision I’ve made since coming to Athens for grad school in 2019. The gym and community were welcoming from the first day I joined, and I’ve been lucky enough to make lifelong friends during my time here. The equipment is clean and well kept, the coaches are kind and communicative, and the community and support from the staff and other members is unmatched!

Joined this gym a few months ago and have had a great experience. From the other members to the coaches everyone has been great that I have met and encouraging.The workouts are tough, but fun. The coaches help out a ton and make sure you are doing the right things. Definitely would recommend if you are looking for a great gym with good folks.

I’ve been going for about a month and a half and I have never been pushed to my full potential like I have here. It’s an amazing gym, the coaches are phenomenal and the community aspect is unmatched!!! Highly recommend and it’s truly for ANYONE!! Definitely will be here for as long as I’m in athens And I think it is fit for hands down anyone. I was originally incredibly intimidated it took me about two months for me to push myself to actually go, but once I started it was such comfortable and supportive environment.

I joined CrossFit Liberate six weeks ago. The coaches and members made me feel very welcome. They communicated all needed information to me and didn't mind me asking questions. They made it easy.The coaches know their stuff. Very quickly they could tell what level I was at and help me to get through each of the classes while encouraging me to push through to get at my best.I visited another Box while I was on a trip and while it was nice, it was not nearly the same level as CrossFit Liberate and did not have the same level of equipment and technology.I feel very lucky to have found such an all around great Box.

After many years of contemplating whether or not to join the CrossFit community, I went ahead and got a membership at CF Liberate. I must say that in my 2.5 months of being a dedicated member, it has been the best decision I’ve made for myself. From customer service to coaching styles, CrossFit Liberate offers the BEST gym experience to those who care about putting in the work. Every coach and staff member I have interacted with has given me extremely beneficial and personalized advice that I would not be able to find anywhere else. I must give special credit to coach Brandon and coach Jess who have specifically made my experience here so great. These two individuals genuinely care and are very knowledgeable in what it takes to be a great athlete. I would rate this 10 stars if possible. Keep up the wonderful efforts CFL!
