Our grandson has been going a little over 3 months. He enjoys it. Master Justin is good with the kids and stays on them to do their best. Not too pricey. A face covering is required.

My entire family (two adults and two kids) have been students of HTA Martial Arts at one point or another for the last three years now. My son was the first student to get the homeschool program kicked off at HTA (Athens) 3 years ago. He is now a black belt, working towards his second degree. My daughter also made it to black belt, and I am currently (at 52 years old) just a few belts away from black. My wife just began her Taekwondo journey recently. Master Justin is a great instructor. Very patient (although, he does not put up with disrespect of ANY KIND). He allows you to go at your own pace and learn each move and form correctly before moving on. The atmosphere at HTA is very laid back and comfortable - which is important when learning martial arts as an adult - because stress can be debilitating. This is overall a great learning environment for both young and old alike - or anywhere in between. I waited to give my review until after I had a good amount of time spent here, and I can honestly say that this has been one of the best things that I've done for both myself and my children. I highly recommend HTA Martial Arts Academy (Athens) to anyone, of any age, who would like to learn Taekwondo.

3 of my children have been attending the homeschool classes for over a year now! Justin is the perfect balance of patient, understanding, and disciplined with them! I have seen a huge improvement in their coordination, memory, confidence & respect! We are looking forward to possibly competing in our first competition this year!

HTA is the best! We've been taking our children there for some time now, and the instructors are always impressive and work well with them. I highly recommend this excellent school.

HTA IS THE BEST!! I enrolled my son a year ago at the age of 4. He has learned so much and not only martial arts but he has learned more respect and self discipline. The Instructor and his wife are both awesome. They are very good with the kids. I highly recommend to give them a try.
