From Brandon’s first genuine warm welcome, to the fun QOTD, to the thoughtful programming and fantastic facility and equipment, everything was top notch! I dropped in for 2 workouts and Blaine was a great and fun coach and the members have great energy. I will for sure be back every time I visit Atlanta!

If it is close by, consider yourself lucky.... if its not, it is worth the drive!!! I was completely new to CrossFit and from the start this place has been amazing! The owners are friendly, approachable and very involved with the classes and the members. The atmosphere they have cultivated in the gym is awesome and really unique. Everyone, from the owners, to the coaches to the other members, is super friendly and supportive... regardless of your fitness level or CrossFit experience. The group feels tight knit and the camaraderie makes showing up easier and helps get you through the toughest parts of the work outs. The coaches are diverse and great! They are clearly very experienced with CrossFit and fitness in general, but they are also amazing teachers. Not everyone who can do something is great at explaining to others how it is done. These coaches have that figured out! They are great at breaking down complex movements so they are more learnable and figuring out your individual sticking points. Everything can be scaled up or down to make it easier or more challenging for athletes of all abilities. Every facet of my experience with CrossFit Identity has only been positive and I cannot recommend this place enough. Stop reading about it and come see for yourself!

Fantastic and welcoming gym. Owners are really great and knowledgeable and the box has a strong supportive community. As a crossfit newbie what I find to be particularly helpful is that the coaches all do an awesome job of scaling each workout for each individual to make sure they are hitting their personal targets in a safe and tailored way.

I joined a little over a year ago and it’s been great! I was at a different Atlanta-area gym for four years, but now my form is a lot better than before. The coaches are great at knowing your limits and pushing them without pushing them too far to where you could get hurt. The people are really nice and welcoming, and they’re really helpful if you need tips! I’ve really loved switching to this gym. Highly recommend.

I moved to Atlanta in December and went to 9, NINE, different CrossFit gyms before committing to this one. I knew this was where I was going to stay from the first workout. The hardest part of moving was knowing I was going to have to find a new gym and finding Identity has far surpassed everything I wanted. Over the years I have been a member at 4 different gyms, I don’t know if I love this one more or the one I left last back home anymore. The owners are amazing. I have never felt more welcomed, which is the initial reason I stayed. Now I stay because the rest of the coaches are amazing, the members are sweet, and the programming works. 15/10 would come back again. Everyday.

I just recently started here and can honestly say I have never felt more welcomed at a crossfit box. This box is all about community and I love it. The coaches make a great effort to learn your name, your quirks, your workout style, and more from day one. I'm also extremely impressed with the coaches level of knowledge regarding form and technique. This box puts safety and community first and I would recommend it to anyone (new or experienced)!

As a stay-at-home dad and a full-time online student, working out and my social life took a back seat for a couple years. When the weight and the loneliness caught up with me, I thought about joining a local gym but knew I would end up working out alone... and that’s not really what I wanted. Some friends told me about CrossFit, and after visiting several “boxes” I settled on CrossFit Identity.Their facilities are A+, with much better equipment and a cleaner overall appearance, than some of the other ones I visited. They have 3 dedicated 101 classes per day (Monday-Friday), which was great, since my only experience with strength workouts was the dumbbells from the local gym and the “CrossFit WODS,” that I saw online, looked very intimidating.I’ve been going now for about 2 months, and CrossFit Identity has met all of my expectations. Blaine, the coach for the morning through mid-afternoon classes, including the 101s I frequent, is a beast. He has a great talent for breaking down the workouts into ways and movements I can practice and understand. He knows when to push me and when to encourage me to go beyond what I’ve ever physically done. I enjoy the challenge, it is definitely what I missed in my day-to-day life.Since I’ve joined I’ve lost about 10 lbs. and feel much healthier and stronger overall. I thought I might feel overwhelmed by the community aspect (since it’s easy to disappear at a local gym on a treadmill in one of the corners), but the members of CrossFit Identity are extremely welcoming and inclusive. The owners/coaches, Eric and Brandon, are always available to chat with... and I’ve had many questions.I fully recommend CrossFit Identity to anyone interested in health/fitness/community. It is a great place to work out and make friends. As a side note, they now have a dedicated, air-conditioned, room for kids to hangout in while we work out. My kids loved it!

I've been a member of CFID for 6 years and it's the only Crossfit gym in Atlanta that I'd consider going to. You'll of course get a great workout here but you'll also get a lot more as the community is what makes this place special. The owners and operators continue to find ways to improve the experience which is reflected in the loyal and diverse base of members.
