Switched to CFID from another local box several years ago -- the facility and the coaching cannot be beat. I had no idea how poorly I was performing lifts until the CFID coaches got a hold of me (still not perfect, but waaaay better). All the coaches are top notch and the coaches and owners really care about the members and each member's performance and their own improvement. The members across the board are great and everyone is very welcoming. Its a real team atmosphere and a great community. If you're looking for a new box, are new to crossfit or just want to see how things are done the right way, come on by. You won't regret, and you won't want to leave.

Fantastic gym. The coaches are incredibly knowledgeable and are interested in each person regardless of fitness level. They've created a terrific community of folks from a variety of backgrounds and fitness levels. I travel a decent amount and have visited a number of other gyms around the country and am always reminded of how lucky we have it at CFID. Highly recommend it.

Moved here from Ohio in November after spending 3 years at my very first CF gym in Cleveland. I planned to drop in to a few gyms to feel them out and Identity was first-up... After the trial class, I was set. I joined that day and didn’t need to try out any others.Awesome gym, amazing coaches, and a very welcoming atmosphere from day one. The community here is top notch and makes every class fun!

CrossFit Identity is so much more than a gym...it’s really a community with CrossFit as the activity that brings it all together.I’ve been going here for almost 2 years now and cannot say enough good things about this place. From day one they know everyone's first name (I have no idea how they do it!).The coaching is amazing, and I progress technically each WOD. Ownership is also top notch, and they constantly strive to upgrade equipment and the athlete’s experience. The members make CFID though, I’ve made so many new friends and expanded my social circle considerably.Often the hour I spend at CFID is the best hour of my day, and my only regret is I wish I found CFID earlier in my CrossFit experience.

My job has me spending a lot of time traveling. When I have time, I always drop in to a local Crossfit gym. Crossfit Identity is a place I will visit again. Super friendly staff and members. Really good coaching and a perfect space to workout in. Seeing as many boxes as I have, I can tell right away if I will like a place or not. My initial thought was that this will be a good one. I wasn't wrong. They know what they are doing. Thanks for the hospitality.

My girlfriend and I dropped into this gym while on vacation (we miss you Crossfit Gotham, NY) and we were immediately greeted by A Coach. From there we were meeting every athlete there. We went through the workout prior, even though everyone was experienced-- still got some tips and tricks from the instructors, regardless. The workout was good and we felt gratified at the end of it. The second part of the workout we had to carry an object "oddly" 1000 meters and it went through a path around the gym. It was a cool running path, with old nature paths through railroad tracks. The gym layout was superb and plenty of equipment for everyone. Nice, outgoing athletes made us feel like part of the team. Definitely going back if we visit Atlanta again.

I've been doing CrossFit for about 5 years but took a year off after new baby. I was coming from Chicago to ATL for a family function and looked up CrossFit ID because it was super close to where I was staying. The place was spacious and clean and the ppl were very friendly. It was a Sat 0830 workout and the gang consisted of what I guessed to be the more seasoned members. Instead of their Sat typical partner workout, it was a 1 RM for back squat followed by Fran (21-15-9 of thrusters and pull-ups). It was as much off of a$$kicker of a workout as it sounds. After watching and listening it was quickly apparent that coach Eric and coach Brandon knew their stuff. I picked up a few technique pointers during the back squat warm-up/prep. I loved the back squat component and even hit a PR! But at 6'4" and 285, and after a year off, my pull-ups aren't my strong suit. Nonetheless, I was ready to "embrace the suck." I was the last one doing work by a country mile. Despite that, the coaches and members continued to encourage and help me grunt through the pull-ups. They have a good thing going on at CrossFit ID. During my next trip to the city I will definitely be dropping in again.

Great setup and convienent for the entire Druid Hills area. I've been doing CrossFit for two years, and Brandon was able to give me two very specific pointers about my snatch form that helped get the bar moving better. Organized well and welcoming atmosphere.*Unique warm-up introduction question. Really wiped me out.

Wow what a great gym!!My friend and I were in town visiting Emory and stopped by this gym to check it out. I've been involved with crossfit for a long time and was very happy with the facilities and knowledge of the staff. The other athletes at the gym were also very helpful and encouraging throughout our workout. I will definitely be joining this gym if I return to Atlanta!
