From what I am told, Orange Theory is definitely an amazing experience. Just not at the Decatur location. I was told to arrive 30 minutes ahead of time. Unable to avoid my delays- I arrived 25 minutes ahead of time. And I was refused access bc I needed 30 minutes to complete paperwork and be told how to use equipment (like a treadmill). I literally completed the paperwork within 30 seconds. The previous class was still dismissing. The coach was still busy and couldn’t see me. But Amaya in the front desk said I was 5 minutes late and could not attend. Yet literally no one was ready to help show me what a dumbbell is to begin with. This girl’s inability to problem solve was infuriating. So… if you go to the Decatur location…. I hope you don’t have to deal with Amaya

I completely understand the late cancel fee but my only issue with the location was I felt that I was unfairly charged.I removed myself from a class the night before that I was initially on the waitlist for at first due to my knee giving me issues. Not because I overslept and not because I didn’t want to attend. The removal message stated that “ you will lose a class” me being an unlimited member assumed this did not apply as I have the unlimited membership. There was no advisement about being specifically charged. Based off of this I thought I was okay. I called and shared this with the front desk that I removed myself the night before due to my knee and with the advisement not saying I would be charged I assumed I would be okay. All I get “well you’re a no call no show so there’s a fee”Watch out for the fees, other than that I enjoy the coaches at this location.

The variety of exercises keep me working on all my muscles. The splat points keep me motivated. The coaches are wonderful: Coach Lundyn, Coach Jordan, and Coach Patrick make my week here in Decatur, GA.

Love Orangetheory as a whole and it has really gotten me back on track for my health. The two biggest complaints I have for this location are the fact that only one coach and the front desk know my name and that the floors are always covered with hairballs/dirt. I started Orangetheory originally in Orlando and the studio there knew my name immediately. I moved to Decatur for school and have spent the same amount of time at the Orlando studio and Decatur studio and STILL get asked what my name is. Considering I go to Orangetheory 4x a week and consistently do the benchmarks it’s just frustrating at this point.
