I've been taking classes at Corestar for the past several years. I enjoy the variety of classes and trust the expert instructors. The studio has a warm, caring, encouraging vibe between clients and instructors alike. I've experienced huge benefits in strength and muscle tone along with weight loss. Thanks Corestar!

I've been having private sessions with Angie for the last 6 months and it's been fantastic! It was about time to do something for my physical health along with mental health. I chose private sessions cause I tend to be excessively competitive and worried of not being able to keep up with others. It was quite an investment for me. The studio itself is not so big but clean and cozy with gorgeous natural lights. I first signed up for 4 sessions to try out and then 8 sessions again and again so far! :) Angie, my instructor, is super knowledgeable, professional and also sincere. If I don't feel uncomfortable with some part of my body, I mention it to her in our session and she tries to focus on that part to make it better. After 6 months, I can definitely tell I've got more strength and energy. More importantly "hope" that I will become a better-self time goes by. It's been indeed worth the money and I am planning on keep doing it (hopefully other classes as well in the future). Corestar Pilates would be a great place to start to invest for the better quality of life.

I have attended classes here for about 5 years. My strength and flexibility have improved tremendously. I am an avid scuba diver and dive here in the PNW, The gear is heavy and diving is strenuous. The training I have received has made diving much easier again. Thank you to the wonderful staff!!!

It has been five years since my first lesson at Corestar. It does not seem possible that so much time has passed. I remember vividly just starting out. My abs were puny; it was impossible to do a full roll-up properly! There was so much to digest and many, new movements to learn. It was really a no-brainer, however, to make the commitment to learn the Stotts Pilates discipline. I had been going to the gym regularly for years, but never really saw any appreciable change in my body. Same treadmill, routines, machines, weights. That exercise does not come close to comparing with a group mat or reformer class. One's entire body is challenged oppositionally, thereby toning and stretching limbs actively. After class usually my whole body feels it has been engaged and working. In short, I am invigorated.Pilates has been extremely helpful both mentally and physically. I feel much more accomplished in what my body can do (cranky, arthritic hips and sacrum notwithstanding) in all the ordinary and extraordinary tasks of daily life. And it takes a ton of concentration, especially where complex or multiple movements are occcurring. There is always an accommodation made when a limb or muscle is ailing, or, conversely, encouragement to push further to advance one's abilities. Having a reasonably toned body to show for it is also a bonus. It's so true: use it or lose it. I want all the flexibility, vitality, and strength that can be mustered for as long as possible. Why wouldn't you?I am so grateful to all the staff at Corestar for the guidance, instruction, patience, coordination-building and just plain fun I have enjoyed there. Without exceptiion Ruth and all the instructors are interested in your wellbeing and growing the health and wellness community one person at a time. I recommend Corestar Pilates glowingly to anyone interested in increasing core strength and agility in a friendly, self-paced environment. Maybe I'll see you there, as I plan to continue my regimen indefinitely.Jodi Henderson 02/27/17

I started attending classes at Corestar about 4 years ago. I have attended both the TRX classes as well as Barre. Prior to taking classes at Corestar, I had suffered through a few injuries which affected by confidence in my ability to do the things I wanted to do. After a few months of classes I began to notice a positive difference. Now at 47, I am in the best shape I've been in my entire life. The instructors are amazing, encouraging, and knowledgable, and the classes are fun and challenging.

Corestar has been a significant part of the transformation I have made with my life over the last two years. A dear friend referred me to Corestar at a time of great personal difficulty. My heart was aching (emotionally) and my body and spirit had suffered from lack of attention. Understanding that I'm a body, mind and spirit and they are all connected, I set out to begin the journey before me to become the person God intends for me to be. I knew Corestar was the place for me. The instructors have a wonderful sense of acceptance of helping each person where they are at. They are skilled at their crafts, fun and truly care about their clients. Two years later I stand and look back at my journey and I'm thankful and grateful, for God's redeeming love and for the significant part Corestar has made in my transformation!

I am a horse owner who started late in life and found a passion. Riding requires a strong core and I needed to find something that fit my needs and my nature. Corestar is close to home and I am ever so glad to have found it. Paige, my trainer, has tailored the workout to my goals from day one. She has helped me become stronger than I ever have been, doing a routine I can manage even as I challenge myself to progress. A couple of health setbacks necessitated rehab and the Corestar team actually KNOWS what Pilates is all about, so the rehab has worked to get me back on my feet and back on the horse, safely, quickly and happily. This team has become part of my extended family. If health and body strength are important to you, this is a great place to take that journey.

I have been practicing Pilates for many years, the last three with Paige at Corestar Pilates in Auburn, WA. Paige, her colleagues and the studio are by far the best ever. As an osteopathic physician I very much appreciate Paige's knowledge of structure and biomechanics as that allows her to design individual exercises to target problem areas in an very effective fashion with no risk of injury. This is especially important as we get older. Her sessions are varied; she uses all of the equipment and tools available so that each weekly workout is unique. Her sessions are intense, focusing on flexibility, balance and strength. I highly recommend this studio and staff to anyone of any age, any fitness level, and with any functional restrictions. They will find a program that works for you. Thank you, ladies! --Jack

The teachers at Corestar Pilates are amazing, and the classes focus on muscle groups, flexibility, endurance and strength, all while being aware of what’s going on in your body and mind. Angie keeps us focused on strongly completing our exercises in good form, Lisa challenges our strength and balance with a smile on her face, and Erin reminds us that leg and glute strength are key to a long and happy old age! Ruth, Corestar's owner, is the most amazing with the way that she connects with people, continues her education in nutrition & physiology, and encourages everyone she touches. What a team!
